King Claw - Larger Replacement Intamin Gyro Swing for Dreamworld

I'm definitely in the 'gold coaster parts' camp. the colour matches the track perfectly and it's in the right spot.

It could be claw parts though - nothing wrong with getting them in early.

As for payment - while I have no inside knowledge of this transaction, in some cases, rides aren't paid for prior to opening at all - sometimes they're "leased" from the manufacturer or under some sort of 'buy now, pay later' arrangement (they should be careful, their bank might deny their home loan!).

If I remember correctly DC Rivals was initially done under this kind of arrangement but was quickly paid back not long after opening. So it could be paid in full, or in part, or not at all, or only 'leased' - nobody here knows!

The accounts when released for year end will tell us more on that but you would be not be a good treasurer of a company if you paid for a product not received / not close to use  in full .
if the ride companies involved in commissioning then I doubt they get fully paid until it’s done.

I look forward to seeing end of year accounts when published to show this if you need.

End of financial year results won’t break down capex expenditures into individual projects, so they won’t. Anything spent on King Claw pre-June 30 will be lumped in with the $$ spent on Rivertown in the back end of 24 (and this year too).

Accounts are semi annual produced so we will have decembers .

in the notes to financial accounts you will see acquisition of  plant and equipment in segment information . It will give you a good idea if  track over periods of time.

there is also a breakdown of pp&e in the notes that break out what’s construction in progress vs what’s not so can split it out . It’s under major rides and attractions column to breakout in more detail .
