So they're relocating the graves from outside the Scooby Doo exit. We already knew that!

But anyway I'm pleased to hear that this years new attraction won't be a roller coaster.

If it's great but small, I'm hoping for a walk through.

  • I don't understand why people are complaining about content. We've never had such comprehensive coverage of a new attraction before. Every member's contribution has been fantastic and is very much app

Talking to a crew member the other day and I was given a series of clues/riddles as to what is going in the new area. I have taken excerpts from our conversation which you will find below.  The crew member was not aloud to divulge specifics because it has yet to go public. Figure it out and it might give us some answers as to what is going on!

"New themed area and ride coming in September! It's not a rollercoaster, that's next years new ride"

"...There's a lot happening between now and the end of next year, several rides and new attractions to come!"

"This year's attraction is great but small"

1. It's not good, they're bad

2. I can fit 36 bodies

3. I am designed by the same manufacturer as another

Seems like Doomsday is going ahead.

Small footprint, but still probably going to be a great ride.

Doomsday is a villain.

Capacity is 36 people per cycle.

Is essentially a big intamin spinning star so that's probably the manufacturer.

And finally, possibly the biggest of them all, Superman is down for a second maintenance period July-September.

So yeah, it's going to be Doomsday.

^I did think that, why another tower ride. But if it provides a completely different experience, then there is no reason not to. And he is a villain in the DC comics.

If that is the ride, that would explain SE maintenance schedules.

Also, the demolition continues (TPSN)

WTF would they be doing Demo in western town if they were putting in a tower ride in the middle of Superman? Honestly sometimes I wonder about what I read here.

Giving they painted half of Superman last year, wouldn't it be safe to assume Superman was going down for paint?

Look at the guys vest.  That builder built polar bear shores at SW and built GL.

I don't think it is this ride but why could it not be moved to this location.  Picture was of original concept only.

Not to Hammer the point home, but it's not a dark ride.

I keep saying it, but I look forward to the collective 'eh?' when it's announced, about the best thing that can be said for it is it does give the park some much needed filler.

That makes sense if they are doing this ride. And would look better in the park, raher than 2 tower rides right next to each other.

That's honestly the best thing I've heard about this new addition. The park really does need some filler to help flesh the day out a bit more, and I'm extremely happy to hear that they're going to try and tackle that issue.

Prayer room is now gone. Im thinking these buildings could be all down by the end of the day. (Photo: TPSN)

Wow. They're certainly not being delicate at all. Talk about going to town and really sledgehammering it into oblivion.

I think a filler attraction will really nail it on the head for the park, so to speak. It's what they need to continue to make it a well rounded experience.

its great that its not a another roller coaster but lets hope its a new section of the park with a new theme that has nothing to do with the dc universe

If they were to add any more DC it'd be evil!
