Did anyone notice that in this picture,The pole is like the swing with the rock, but right now the pole is green in the pictures being shown.

I'm not trying to have a go at them over trivial stuff, and I do think overall the theming is amazing and going to only get better from here, but this is really bothering me with the fake bricks. I hope they can do something to blend it better.

I haven't said too much about this because from experience I know that generally when it all comes together it ends up looking good. But I have to say I have been worried about the material used on these facades. It just feels like the whole thing is meant to be an indoor set. But I assume there is more to come in terms of making the vertical and horizontal brick panel join lines invisible.

Based on what I can see from finished examples using the various fake brick panel products available (such as Durabric above, and others), the join lines should not be visible, at least once it's all fully installed. Maybe the panels are actually going to be painted?

I forgot that bricks in WA are cheaper than they are over East. As for us building a house out of timber costs more. Hence why all our houses are double brick outside walls and single brick walls inside.

I'm sure they know what they're doing. My guess is they'll have it done by the end of the month and move on to discussing more exciting things.

The ring would come in two parts, and they just use the crane to move them into place and then connect them.

↑  I was being an idiot. Thought I'd throw the spears they had on the DD carriages during testing into the fountain to round the whole #spearsgate #fountaingate saga into one    ;-)

nah that's where the new toilet block is going so when some guests get sick from all the spinning they can run right next door instead of messing up the pavement. i do this all the time in RCT it helps a lot.

Do people think or know whether they will have costumed characters making appearances in this area? I imagine if they are they would be the three characters we've seen on the ad, as well as the joker and harley quinn.

As to be expected there is a lot of differences between the artist impression and the final ride.

some of that fake brick work looks like it has been grouted or something between the joins. Top section looks more realistic because of it, so maybe that is what is going to happen with the rest of the panels? mix up a cement grout mix and fill in the cracks so it looks like mortar.

there always are I'm starting to wonder whether that ring is actually going on at all. we haven't actually seen it anywhere however the rest of the pieces including the seats were stored nearby before the ride actually even went up.
