Pretty sure half the effects in the first part only started working properly after the maintance and the second part the water towers stream now goes over you and there is water coming out of bucket thing on the right so it’s showcasing the new or working effects. Sorry for not commenting, next time I’ll be sure to make some analogies

Dreamworld piece of crap aka tower of terror is having another months closure for maintnace even though it has already had a massive closure this year.

Given the info that’s come out in the last 48 hours I’m hesitant to complain that they are actually doing maintenance....

Just gone through the maintnace page again and it seems almost every thrill ride is having a second round of maintnace for the year?

so the claw reopened on Monday and as I said 6-8 seats were already broken, OHS has probably come through and shut it down again😂😂

The Claw today had its 5th push back, now until 2nd July. The Tower of Terror is now closing until 2nd July also. Sword Swings also closed unexpectedly according to maintenance page, opening 2nd July. 

It's probably best for DW to do that planned maintenance on TOT now as the ride is clearly falling apart.

TOT is only 5* days? Not much could be getting done.

Trust me, there's no way that will go according to plan.

Basically find how many days it is planned to be closed for, multiply that by 4 and that's how long it will be shut for.

July 2nd is the school holidays start - seems a logical time to having everything re-open to me

Anyone seen any action recently with Green Lantern?

I was there last Saturday. Heaps of testing with dummies was happening, also some work happening on the support structure. Not sure what for though

Arkham opened today as scheduled, first four rows now have a minimum height requirement of 155cm.

The person responsible for painting feet can’t count.

Batwing also had an unscheduled closure for most of the day, not reopening prior to park close.

Batwing was also closed for a while yesterday, but they managed to get it going again.

Tower opened on Sunday instead of today and the claw still remains closed.

@Jordan M. Thanks for the update. Any idea why only the first 4 rows on Arkham have had their min. height requirement changed? Is there any noticeable change to the harnesses and/or seats in those 4 rows?

Nothing different I could see with the harness/seats, I was hoping someone on here might have an idea as to why the change has been made.

I'd guess that it's an evac thing. It's possible that the first 4 can be parked in such a way on that they are only accessible by cherry picker on the lift and they don't want to evac kids in that manner.

Looks like the tower has closed again🤬 

My understanding is the tower has always had its issues. In fact the gossip was a settlement rumoured after the ride completion given the faults.

It has never worked as well as it should have. The reason for tunnel was 1. To reduce delays after rain and 2. to stop water in the wiring.

The sensors still fail very regularly causing ride to shutdown . Maybe now instead of resetting they have to shutdown and look at in more detail before restarting . That will not necessarily solve the ongoing issues though.

Claw has not reopened today, both Drop and Tower are closed.

Bus Stop has been fenced off and according to TransLink will remain so until the 14th. A chain was being raised around 10:15

Two slides have suddenly gone under maintenance at WWW

GD and TOT2 are closed until Friday 

Went on Arkham Asylum today. Don’t know if it’s been mentioned anywhere yet, however there is a new set of wheels on the front train. VR riders are now only allowed to ride at the back of the train. Wasn’t any less shaky by any means, but the restraints are far better now, as there’s nothing to bump your head into. (Not sure if that’s a new feature, or a long-existing one.)
