Haha I can see myself on the balcony! I’m the one on the very left, I have a couple new photos of Big Dipper from today, The track after the corkscrew and before the brake run has been installed 

I knew you'd be one of the guys up there. Why else would you all be up on the balcony looking down at the rides?

I was down at the boardwalk and went back up to hear from the other two guys that someone came up to them and asked if they were Coasterlife, But man this is the 8th time this week for it to happen! 😂

That was me! Saw 2 kids on the balcony & asked if one of them was you 😂 Today was my first time seeing all the new rides in person. They look awesome! Sledgehammer is massive!

Ohhh it was you haha, Yeah Sledgehammer is really massive! So many people are coming up to me, 3 on Friday and 5 today it's just absolutely insane at the moment!

It’s funny because this event was originally intended to just be for the trades people who worked on the new and improved Luna Park! I guess they want a bigger show XD I’ve already booked my spot

Agree great pics but surely they aren’t yours.

Wild Mouse has been updated as closed for maintenance on the website, does anyone know anything about this or are they just testing a new UI for the website. A while ago Joy Wheel was the same, but the UI was different so this may just be them trying a new one

All 8 logos for the rides opening next week 

They are adding more support structure for BD as I type this, and there has been more track installed as well. 

Here's a couple pics from today, Asphalt has been laid around all of Big Dippers concrete footings, Sledgehammer does have a lighting package only on the 4 supports and the Hair Raiser also received a new lighting package that is really cool like the Ferris wheel but i don't have pics of that just yet, Hopefully Sunday or Friday i can get something, What i think is Boomerangs ride photo camera was being installed today and the bug canopy is almost complete and displays the sledgehammer sign on it, And of course as posted earlier we now have more BD track installed

Seems like they will try to get as much of the work for BD done as possible on the midway section this week before opening day, then work will be done around the maloney's corner side on the weekdays the park isn't open. Expecting progress to be slow or heaps of testing if they are trying to get it done for a December opening though

From today’s final visit before the Friday night opening, The lavender green white construction fence was removed and can now see cloud 9 from a better perspective, I got a close up on Boomerangs ride photo cam and more progress on Big Dipper, They have extended the Glenn street stairs closure to the 31st of August, nothing much to really see now since we are less than a week till reopening, I’ll get some pics on the annual pass holder event 

Must be a mad scramble to get everything done by opening! Looked like there was still a lot of ground work and finishing touches. It may open not fully complete, but hopefully any details will be filled in soon after and not just left as good enough.

Seeing that Sledgehammer is the same ride model, I assume it as possible for something like this to happen at Luna Park Sydney? Should be fun... 😵

Sledgehammer is not the same ride model. That is a Zamperla Giant Discovery, Sledgehammer is a Discovery Revolution. Same manufacturer, that's all.
