The pit still needs much more dirt removed on the left side if the small white markers are anything to go by.

The damp weather doesn't appear to have dampened the work on Sea Worlds latest ride.

One of the biggest changes is a large pit that has been dug where the station seems to be going.

It looks as if a zig zagging, slalom type section will be one of the elements.

The twisting layout continues to the front of the site. Instead of a simple u-turn leading to the station, an S bend has been added in the middle.

Some footers at the back end of the site. This is right near an animal pool, so one would imagine the pool would be moved, or sound screened. The circular footers and pentagonal bolt arrangement suggests the ride will use Intamins conventional support system, rather than the unique style seen on Mick Doohans Motocoaster.

Another feature is a sharp u-turn that goes from under the monorial, from side and back again, brushing past Corkscrews support structure. At the top of the picture you can see that a chunk of the railway track has been removed for site access reasons, hence explaining that rides closure during construction.

Parallel lines of footings indicate this could be the station area.

An overview of the site. Footings are present to literally a couple of meters away from the cream coloured fence at the far end of the site. The new coaster is not the only thing happening however, in the foreground the Vikings Revenge Flume has been fully resurfaced and repainted.

Previously, some of this area was water, though it has been reclaimed for the footings of the new coaster.

The coaster will be quite close to the existing flume ride. On the left you can see that a section of walkway that ran between Sesame St Beach at the Vikings Revenge has been hacked away in a distinctive curve to accomodate a turn in the track.
