Dominator features two sides. One launches riders upwards before they freefall down again and bounce a few times.. The other side slowly lifts riders to the top, and fires them downwards faster than gravity. The 3rd tower has never been used.

Suddenly the car is released, and freefalls down. The track curves to horizontal, where it is brought to a stop. The ride pre-dates electromagnetic braking systems, meaning a horizontal brake track was the only feasible way to slow the cars down.
