We felt the Saw maze had the better theming, with scenes true to the film, though the Zombie Apocalypse maze had sheer length on its side, and its disorientating layout, full whiteout of fog, and constant strobe lighting and sirens made this one the winner.

The path spills out into the cattlepens, with the Saw horror maze in soundstage 1 and Zombie Apocalype in soundstage 2.

The normally closed roadway along the side of Lethal Weapon leads you two a pair of horror mazes. They could well have hired some portable generator floodlights for this path, but the overall look of the park has been carried through with the purple lighting.

Fog constantly billows from the buildings and the drains, making it a full whiteout at times.

One thing that strikes you as soon as you walk into the park is just how dark everything has been kept, save for the odd splash of coloured light. Coupled with a cold and windy night, it really does give a bit of atmosphere.

Green Lantern has been the center of attention of late, but we all know it has been fright nights time at Movie World too, and of course, Parkz was there.

Of note is the steady dip from the top of the lift hill down into that first turn. Perhaps the only moment of the ride where it pays homage to its wild mouse coasters that influence the El Loco style coaster.

Several sections of track past the first drop have also been put in place.

Whatever angle you look at that drop from, it's mindblowingly steep.

Green Lantern's construction continues with the truly ridiculous first drop now in place.

Lots of twisted track still around... stay tuned to Parkz we watch this track become Green Lantern!

Track for that first overhanging drop sits in the car park. The fins attached to the track are part of the ride's braking system that will ensure that cars don't pick up too much speed and cause excessive forces as cars hit the overhanging section of track.

Supports for the brake run in place. Two of these supports sit lower than the others to make room for the mechanical components.

With a bit of speed to it, this lift will give quite a pop as cars crest it.

The criss-cross of the support structure gives Green Lantern's lift hill an almost wooden coaster feel.

That staircase we see forming allows easy access to the mechanical components of the lift-hill once the ride opens, as well as safe evacuation in the event of ride issues.
