Travelling down the canal.
The plants here are grown by aeroponics, where nutrients and water are sprayed directly onto the exposted roots of the plants.
Biome
The tomato tree holds the record for being the largest and most productive tomato plant in the world, producing 32,000 tomatoes over one 16 month period.
Signage.
The ride;s queue area is themed to be like a space center.
This photo, taken through the exit, shows a couple of the 4 person pods in which the experience takes pace. The central hub that the 10 pods revolve around can be just seen in the darkness.
Kali River Rapids is themed to a rafting voyage through the Indian rainforest.
The ride also carries a subplot related to illegal logging.
The queue passes through some nicely themed Indian style shrines and temples.
The rafting expedition theme carries over nicely into the details on the rafts.
In true Disney style much of the ride is hidden from view, but glimpses of the course can be seen through the dense foliage around the ride.
Towards the end of the ride the river emerges from the jungle and skirts around a lake.

You get a bit wet.
As the rafts float into the station, guests can make the elephants squirt by pressing buttons on the bridge from where this photo was taken.
In keeping with the cheap carnival theme, the vehicles are mock time machines comprised of retro appliances cobbled together by the owners "Chester and Hester".
Heading off...
The ride is actually a modified version of a travelling coaster model seen at carnivals throughout the world.
After reaching the top of the lift the cars go through the first through switchbacks without spinning, after a couple of drops, the spinning is unlocked for the second set of switchbacks.
