One of the more bizzare thematic elements is a grand piano that pops open when boats pass, spraying out water.
Towards the end of the course boats pass through a passage with water falls either side, an element colloquially referred to as "The parting of the Red Sea"
After the waterfalls there are still plenty of waves to hit.
The tunnel at the end of the ride emerges through the hull of a ship.
A belt moves rafts back up to station level, and a pair of Archimedean screws moves the huge volumes of water needed back to the top of the course.
Some of the theming.
Coin operated fountains really do eliminate any chance of stayind dry.
An overview of the ride.

The entrance and queueing area.
The load/unload station.
The ride begins with a misty lift hill up to the first drop.
The first drop is much like any flume ride. Following this, the boats leave the track, and float along a slow moving flume section, into the archway under the drop.
Here the rides' unique features come into play. A vertical lift (Similar in nature to the one on the Scoody Doo Spooky Coaster) brings boats to the top, where they then twist down the drop, pull 3g's at the bottom, before banking around and up into the block brakes.
(The turn that connects the first lift hill to the first drop can also be seen)
A drop and turn after the block brakes sends the boats into another splashdown.
All that remains is a slow U turn back to the station.
The main entrance.
The lift hill for Gwazi Lion.
The ride has quite a twisted layout, unfortunatley the ride uses PTC trains rather than the newer, articulated Millenium Flyers, resulting in a somewhat rough ride.
