The ride is themed to be a "fear extraction device". The story goes that Dr Doom is using this extracted fear for his own ends.
A vehicle heading off into the ride. The vehicles are capable of rotating, tilting and pitching.
The station is themed as the newspapers loading dock, and even the signs for each passenger loading row reflects this.
The vehicles, known as "Scoops" have high screens on each side to keep riders focused fowards, so the projected images have the greatest impact.
From the lobby the queue winds back and forth through the workstations of the newspaper.
The theming in the queue is oddly painted in flat colours to reinforce the comic book feel.
The ride starts off in a waterfall fed pool.
The highlight of the ride is an ever tigtening triple helix.
It's a gentle, meandering course, with no bumps. The channel is acutally made out of a soft material.
Here you emerge from the cave after the helix.
The slide starts of fairly steeply, though bumps moulded into the slide stop you from picking up too much speed.
The slide passes through some interesting environments.
It's a bit rougher than the nearby Keelhaul Falls.
