A fairly speedy enclosed section.
Poweful jets of water propel the rafts on the uphill sections. The water follows a different trajectory to the riders, so at the top it is akin to being shot in the back by a fire hose.
That typhoon has certainly taken its toll!
Banana blaster goes its own way, separate to the other slides.
The slides finish in a lagoon, part of which is roped off for general swimming.
It's quite an idyllic setting.
Plenty of criss-crossing.
Humunga Kowabunga is a thrilling change of pace from many of Typhoon Lagoons attractions.
Water running down the slopes of Mt Mayday.
It's a long way down.
Uniquely, the freefall is expeirenced in darkness.
SheiKra starts off with a bang. Trains of 24 riders are held at the top of a 61m drop for a few seconds, before hurtling down.
The trains sport a floorless design, the outside seats give a unique feeling of freedom, having no track above or below. The inside seats create a feeling of danger, as the track whizzes by, exposed beneath the feet of the riders.
After the first drop the track skims above the ground and immediatley loops up into a giant Imellmann.
Following the Immellmann, the track curves around a rising helix to the mid course brakes.
The mid course brakes.
The train is slowed in order to negotiate the tight transition into the second vertical drop, which delivers a good dose of negative g's.
Both vertical drops. The second actually dives underground.
