Early work has begun on the Southern Star Observation Wheel.
While the 2008 opening of the attraction is some time away, models and videos on display at the Waterfront City information centre give an indication of how the finished product will look.
The green fenced area shows vastness of this attraction. The wheel will eventually be surrounded by smaller amusements.

The dolphin's ability to leap to great heights out of the water was demonstrated by making them jump with certain props, such as through rings.
The "Best of Mates" show at Sea World, which showcased a variety of tricks from several different species of dolphins, including Bottlenose dolphins and Pilot whales. This was found where "Quest for the Golden Seal" is now located.
The Speed Slide and bodyslides behind it. The Speed Slide was removed several years ago to make way for Speed Coaster, which uses the same support structure, and the bodyslides structure was filled in to create a hill, becoming White Water Mountain.
