The Universal Studios end of the ride actually starts "outside" Diagon Alley, in a recreation of London's Kings Cross station.
The ride passes through backstage areas between both parks, so projections are used on the windows to hide the outside world and create a 'magical' journey.
The Hogwarts Express train links the Diagon Alley area in Universal Studios with the Hogsmeade area in Islands of Adventure.
The unload area....Back outside the movie set.
The loading area. Guests are led to believe they are extras for filming of the Mummy, but things soon become strange during the ride....
