New attraction for Dreamworld

New attraction development is expected to commence shortly at Dreamworld.

For those not up with financial jargon, a fiscal year is an arbitrary 12 month period which companies organise their finances around. In the case of Macquarie Leisure, the period is July through June of the following year. They are currently in the 2005 fiscal year.

No specific details of the attraction are yet available, however with past recent investments into attractions bringing us thrill rides and family attractions, it is expected that this new development will capitalise on Dreamworld's current strong position in the market.

Competing Gold Coast parks are also rolling out several new major attractions in this same period. Warner Bros. Movie World is currently in the early construction stages of a new Superman themed roller coaster. Wet'n' Wild is expanding its Mammoth Falls attraction and Sea World is also adding new slides to its water park.
