Adventure World announces new attraction

The Aqua Super 6 Racer opened to the public December 3.

The new attraction, which opened to the public on December 3, will allow riders to reach speeds of close to 70 kilometres per hour, as they hurtle head first down the six lane slide. Adventure World Chief Executive Andrew Sharry said that the new attraction will add yet another dimension to the park’s appeal. “This 115 metre slide pumps over 90 litres of water per minute, but the most unique aspect of the ride is its ability to rank riders at the finish line. Sensors placed at the finish line can place riders within an accuracy of 1/1000th of a second, however don’t even consider cheating, as the slide can detect if a rider has jumped the gun, and places them last!” he said.
