Dreamworld's i-Ride to be named Sky Voyager

As suggested by recent trademark applications, Dreamworld are moving forward with the name Sky Voyager for the forthcoming simulator attraction while also reaffirming a summer school holidays opening of the attraction.

Brisbane's Courier Mail today confirmed the ride's name, while offering further details about the ride experience. It will feature 60 seats in total – six groups of ten – as Parkz was told earlier this year.

Guests will glide over the ocean towards Surfers Paradise, soar above Sydney Harbour, hover above a white water raft on the Tully River in far north Queensland and float among hot air balloons in South Australia’s Barossa Valley.

"The excitement is certainly building here at Dreamworld as we get closer to opening this state-of-the-art attraction, which will be a favourite for all ages,” Dreamworld general manager marketing Philip Hancox told the Courier Mail.

"Sky Voyager is the prefect [sic] name, as it will take guests on an Australia voyage by air, creating a truly unforgettable experience."
