Firehawk. Overview
Guests sit in slightly reclined seats, where they clip a padded vest closed across their chest and pull down a lap bar which sits on their waists and shins. A mechanisim tilts each row of seats back so guests are lying with their back to the track. The train then departs, and guests ascend the lift hill on their back. At the top, the track twists 180 degrees, so guests are facing the ground, giving the sensation of flying.
The ride features swooping turns, a loop, a helix, inline twists, and sections where riders are flipped onto their back again.
The ride previously was located at Geauga Lake, where it was known as X-Flight.
