Enjoyment
Simply too uncomfortable to be enjoyable!Effectiveness
Goudurix isn't as heavily marketed as before in Parc Astérix's advertising, yet it still features in their billboard screens. It may look and be iconic, but the actual on-ride experience is nothing short of underachieving.Intensity
The forces never get extreme, but the sequence of inversion really is relentless.Rider Comfort
Vekoma. 1989. 7 inversions... There's literaly headbanging in every single element of this coaster, except for the lift hill, brakes and the vertical loop. Oh and it rattles quite prominently during the drop too. Lives up to its reputation - in a bad way.Pacing
For all its awful ride comfort, Goudurix's layout is actually really good and well paced! You go through each inversion one after another at impressive speed and there's no dead spot in this ride. A remarkable improvement over old Arrow Megaloopers in that regard.Theming/Storyline
A Viking boat station was added about 10 years ago - finally putting a roof in the process. It looks nice, and the coaster's location and shape over the lake is really gorgeous!Upkeep/Presentation
In fairness to Parc Astérix, they actually tried to improve the coaster experience by retracking the coaster from time to time. However, they kept old Vekoma trains with bulky OTSRs and well, the coaster is 28 years old as of this review...Queue/Efficiency
Decent operations. Lots of young people line-jumping on this ride but I guess that's not the park management's fault.More Reviews
