Jungfrau-gletscherflieger Overview
"Virgin Glacier Flyer" is a spinning ride. The ride features a spinning central hub with 5 main arms. At the end of each arm are four 'crosses 'that revolve around the end of the arm horizontally. Suspended from each point of the cross is a mini aeroplane shaped car which can swing outwards. As the ride runs and everything rotates, the planes are geared to always face fowards, so there is a sensation of being in a squadron of four planes flying around each other in a formation.
The ride also tilts slightly, providing another degree of movement.
