Looney Tunes - What's Up Rock? Overview
Looney Tunes - What’s Up Rock? was a live musical performance that featured costumed characters from the Looney Tunes brand, including Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Lola Bunny, Tweety, Sylvester, Wile E. Coyote and the Tasmanian Devil. The show consisted of the Looney Tunes singing and dancing along to a combination of showtunes, ranging from rock melodies to semi-recent pop hits. While the characters performed these numbers, they would be accompanied by several glittery background dancers. Some examples of what they would sing include their own renditions of "Rock Around the Clock" and Rihanna's "Don't Stop the Music". Naturally, it was a stage show primarily targeted towards families with young children.
It was originally performed in a large soundstage in the wild west area, but apparently later moved outside to the heart of the Main Street. Presumably, with this move, the show was scaled down significantly, as the soundstage offered better lighting and sound. The show hasn't been performed since 2012, but there are similar acts performed at the park. After prepaid photo sessions, the collective of Looney Tunes "meet and greets" have been seen putting together small street acts, like shuffling along to LMFAO's "Party Rock Anthem"
