Mountain Coaster Overview
Guests ride in individual cars that run on a single rail track that weaves down the hillside. Each car has a brake lever that allows them to control their speed on the way down.
Each car is towed to the top of the course via a hook attached to a chairlift. At the top the hook automatically detaches, and the remainder of the course is downhill.
A centrifugal brake in each car provides an upper limit to the speeds guests can reach.
