Outback Bay Overview
A wave pool themed as a bay. At its main western entrance, it features a 'beach' consisting of real sand with deckchairs available to sit on. A shallow dip divides the 'beach' with the wave pool.
'Kiddies Cove' is situated south of the wave pool and is a children's water play area which has been made undercover in recent years. A lighthouse features next to it.
The eastern side of the wave pool is 'Bombora Wharf ' - a fishing wharf-themed area consisting mainly of food shops & an observation deck with chairs/tables. A 2nd entrance features to the north of the 'Wharf'.
A big screen was installed in the south-eastern corner of the wave pool in 2014 and screens music videos & adventure shows throughout the day.
