Special Effects Stage Overview
In 2010 the show was temporarily closed for a few months to make way for the construction of Transformers. The new location on the Upper Lot opened on June 26, 2010, featuring a single-room layout.
The show was originally divided up into three different rooms that guests progress through.
The first room focused on green screen technology and camera techniques. The second room on animatronics and motion capture, as well as makeup. The third room on the work of sound effects.
