Surfrider is a roller coaster that is seasonal at Wet'n'Wild Gold Coast. Built by Intamin in 2007.

Wet'n'Wild tried something pretty bold with Surfrider as a response to competition from Dreamworld's WhiteWater World. The water effects that justified this ride's existence at a water park quickly disappeared, leaving Wet'n'Wild with a fun but out of place amusement ride.

A bit of spinning, a lot of height, but after the adrenaline of the first few swings it's a passive experience..Rider Comfort

Gets the balance right, which can be tricky on spinning rides like this.Theming/Storyline
Never really themed, but the since-removed water effects gave this ride a reason to exist in a water park.Upkeep/Presentation
Turns out water effects and high-tech electromagnets don't exactly mix. As it is the ride is the remnants of a once great idea.Queue/Efficiency
Low capacity but still churns through more riders than most of the lower capacity slides at Wet'n'Wild.More Reviews
