The park is separate from the two main Universal dry parks. Instead you walk to the back of the car parks and board a shuttle bus to Volcano Bay.

The park opened with the claim of "no lines". Guests use their wristbands to make reservations at each ride, and return at the time you are given. This leaves you free to eat, or use non reserved attractions like the lazy rivers or wave pool. On quieter days you are free to join any line you like without reserving.
