New attractions and no shortage of rain greet guests this school holidays. Watch this space in the coming weeks as Halloween Fright Nights standby to take over the park.
Whilst the Police Academy show required the surface wet down, the faster paced HSD has to tone it down in the rain. They do a great job of fitting most all of the regular show in, even with the extra slippery surface.
Journey to the Centre of the Earth has replaced Shrek 4D. The new feature is a little lighter on the inside theming but much heavier on 4D effects.
It's important that guests are informed about ride closures before they enter the park.
At Movie World however, the rides closed on a particular day depend entirely on which ticket booth you went through on your way in.
No ride closures here... this is the place to get your tickets!
With Journey they've turned a 90 minute family adventure film that no one saw into an effects-laden 25 minute 4D show that lacks continuity but makes up for it with an effective use of in theatre effects. Don't expect a nice family-friendly attraction, this one has a lot more bite to it. But we at Parkz think it's worth a look... so go out and see for yourself!
