  1. Oh no, they forgot to include 'Next Generation'!
  2. I’d take the white over a texture. Matches with sky voyager and will outlast any colour. Also, I really hate multi-coloured shade structures.
  3. Probably got a deal when they bought the new Roadrunner sign
  4. Something I noticed during the testing was they have added some sound effects/audio of road runner as the train leaves and arrives at the station and ascends up the lift hill. I believe there was porky pig and maybe another character who did announcements
  5. RR bringing back the 80's I'm sorry but this is what I see when I look at the trian
  6. The path is complete It’s looking pretty tight through here for the train Shading being installed A really nice wall separates the queue from viewing the launch And some battens have been added to the control booth for ‘theming’
  7. Train was in testing today. And who’s ready to see the most disappointing attraction entrance sign we’ve seen from MW?
  8. For me it's not necessarily that it isn't themed, it's just that it is themed to a car for some reason. Even if it was just a nice red colour or something that would be better than this weird look. I would argue where Big Dipper is going to be located is the best themed area of the entire park:

Well, I never thought I would say this but the WACA in Perth is getting a pool and two waterslide as part of a $100 million dollar make over. While getting a two waterslides a stadium is unique, one of the slides will wrap around a light pole. Imagine watching the footy while going down a waterslide. https://www.austadiums.com/news/936/final-designs-revealed-for-64m-waca-upgrade
  10. That's correct. Thanks to the upgraded final brake run, trains will gradually slow to a stop with trims instead of friction brakes...
  11. On my visit to MW yesterday there was nothing to say that the park would close early. And the Roxy Theatre had closed for the day when I walked past it at 2:15
  12. This splashdown is yet to be refilled but the bucket for pipeline plunge has returned
  13. Individual lap bars make me super un-easy on a boat ride. I think Cedar Point’s defunct boat ride is the canary in the goldmine on why you don’t do this.
  14. Wild West Falls is defiantly getting a brand new fleet of boats from White Water with each guest having their own personal lapbar. Similar intent to Road Runner however differing in design. From my understanding this will mean the station is being upgraded to a progressive station with multiple blocks (Waiting, Unload, Load).
  15. Guess I should have done, just didn't want to toot my own horn too much, so to speak. Oh well... toot toot!
  16. My worries were we would just get the generic trains, those worries turned out to be true... It doesn't really make sense to have a racing/car-themed coaster in your 1920's Boardwalk Theme Park, especially when the queue enters through a Taj-Mahal inspired structure.
  17. Saw one of the Trains on the track today getting moved into the maintenance room!
  18. Yeah I can't be mad about our parks reducing their hours right now - they're the one of the industries doing it the toughest in Queensland right now. I'd be following in Disney's suit and using this opportunity to finally reset the pricing structure - we've been following this 2008/GFC-based pricing model for long enough. It's clear the pricing structure needs to change if Adventure World can demand close to double the price for season tickets. Let's see some date-based surge pricing that goes hand in hand with operating hours and be a little more transparent while we're there.
  19. Did Movie World get a great deal with a sign printer or somethign? Why are they replacing their old 3D signs with these new flat ones...
