I took these today. In case anyone doesn't know where it is, it is dreamworld and the the ride we believe is the September Thrill Ride. Another piece of track is still fenced off in the carpark.

BATMAN Adventure - The Ride 2 will be closed for scheduled maintenance 16 May - 26 June 2011 inclusive. So is this re-opening today???

Track has arrived for September Thrill Ride. Shockwave is looking good - all the track appears to be together.

Here are some figures - (Take notice of the base area and project start and opening dates) Does anyone know the total area the ride is possibly using - if it remains outside the park between helicopter pad and gate behind chaitlift station then the dimentions would be around 70m x 10m max approx. this would suggest an XT150 would fit in this spot. SkyLoop XT 150 SkyWheel, Allgäu Skyline Park/Germany Project Data: project start: March 2004 opening: 19th March 2005 Technical Data: track length: 150 m height track: 46 m height tower: 52 m cars: 2x 6-seater X-Car number of cars: 1 Tandem capacity: 550 pph base area: 50 x 5 m Special Features: world’s highest inversion 2 inversions spectacular design very compact layout extendable to a total track lengthof more than 1000 m SkyLoop XT 450 Abismo, Parque de Atracciones/Spain Project Data: project start: May 2005 opening: March 2006 Technical Data: track length: 410 m height track: 46 m height tower: 52 m cars: 2 x 6-seater X-Car number of cars: 1 Tandem capacity: 550 pph base area: 110 x 33 m Special Features: world’s highest inversion 4 inversions spectacular design Camelbacks with over 3 sec Airtime extendable to a total track lengthof more than 1000 m

This is where the X-Train would come in handy: X-Train: Technical Data • Passangers: 8 - 36 seats, 4 per row • Capacity: up to 3000 pph • Max. speed: 130 km/h • G-forces: min: -1,2 g; max: +6 g • Inversions: yes • Multimedia-ready (speakers, individual song choice, video cameras, displays...)

Maybe mines bigger than yours

Maurer Sohne is the manufacturer of the september ride - hasn't been 100% confirmed however http://www.maurer-rides.com Here is an image from their website - a possible version of what Dreamworld are geting???

I aggree with you there 100% I think a Giant Donkey Statue Idea is great.

Only problem they're only closed for a month not 3

Just spoke to dreamworld and they let slip that the Train is also closed for the same constriction. I wonder what construction needs all that closed???

Correct me if I am wrong but if Movie World have a "Early Works Approval" for a "Batman Retail Outlet" than would this meen they are keeping the Batman adventure ride a batman theme.

Here are some photos from the outsiders.

I don't suppose they're putting a roof over the bus area?? or maybe parts for the queing area building for the coaster??

I heard they're doing a major refurb of lethal weapon and replacing batman the adventure ride???? Anyone else no any more?? The Outsiders have said they will be releasing some possible different news and something to add to this soon.

Maybe they've come to take the shipping containers back after seeing dreamworlds budget for the new rides.

Great work on the vid. Would like to see more in the future. Dreamworld should have a media release out this week. (So they say) Source: Kenny Koala

What type of trucks? Anything on them? Any pics?

MW hav emailed saying the ride is udergoing a major refurb and this is the reason for the delayed reopening. Sounds like the ride has hope het.

This is what you'd be refering to? (see attachment) untitled.bmp SW_ParkMap-Apr11.pdf

Is it just me or does it seem very quiet at Movie World. (New rides etc) With every thing happening is Movie World Waiting to see what Dreamworld does or are they keeping their plans very secret and ready to pounce when the time is right.

It would be great to see them to reopen the mine train ride and build a new coaster in Gold Rush however a well themed coaster in Gold Rush would be steering them back in the right direction.

Submiting photos doesnt seem to be working. I click on submit photo and this is what comes up.
