  1. As Jamberoo's Website is still taking shape these features have just appeared on the website (Some are old) - Day Planner - Online Tickets - Videos (including ride-on) of these rides - Alpine Chairlift - Billabong Beach children's water play area - Rapid River lazy river - Bobsled toboggan - Outback Bay wave pool - Surf Hill eight lane racer - The Rock 5m & 3m high jumping platform, tunnel slide, 8m long speed slide with 2m high "waterfall like drop" at end) - Park Brochure - New Food Outlets & Shelters webpage - Accomdation details (for full Jamberoo experience go for Belmore All-suite cause it is owned by them) - interactive & PDF park map - How to get there interactive driving directions page. - FAQ's - Colouring In Game - Jigsaw Puzzle Game - Ringtones of - Surf Hill - Billabong Beach - Outback Bay - Wallpapers - Contact us webpage - Customer Feedback webpage On the pack brochure look at the aerial view, the queue lines at the entrance and the traffic jam on the road (top) is very long. So you better get there before a lot of visitors come cause of the expansions. The cause of this is low capacity car park and small queue areas at rides and entrance.
  2. Hey, i got sick on the little kiddie rides at Nick Central two years ago.
  3. I'm not going but on the second Halloween Night i think the Looney Tunes River Ride will be closed due to annual maintenance.
  4. Sorry, to all the people who want to go but haven't brought tickets. Movie World's Halloween Fun Night has been sold out due to popular demand.
  5. On the picture of Whitewater World with the Cyclone infront of it on their website, is there a escaltor-like thing to carry the four-leaf clover rings next to the Tornado? And, i think they are also trying to beat the Jamberoo expansions. On their website they wrote, "with family-style fun in the ultimate Aussie beach paradise.". 1. All Jamberoo Rides are going to be Aussie themed 2. There is a Billabong Beach and at Outback bay there is real sand on their beach. "the most technologically advanced ‘water ride park’ on earth" 1. Outback bay is the most technologically advanced "wave pool" in the world. I assume that they got the quote and replaced it with "water ride park on earth". I think they are trying as hard as they can to beat other water parks by doing a lot of publicily and quotes.
  6. To see the growing theme park go to http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&t=k&am...001232,0.002414 To know where the rides are - Outback Bay - shown straight away Le-Mans and site of Proslide rides - drag to the top left corner The Rock, Mushrooms & Toddlers Area - drag up Splash Out - go to The Rock and drag left Mini Golf - drag right Boblseds & Chairlift - drag right then up Surf Hill, Billabong Beach, Rapid River & site of Taipan - go to splash out and move right. The Eddy's "Mansion Like" House & Flower Barn- drag to the to bottom - right corner I'm not sure if it's on Google Earth though
  7. I'm not sure if this is related to the Vekoma ride but this was on the Dreamworld Ride And Attraction Maintenance page. Tiger Island Due to maintenance earth works, Tigers will be out on the Island from 11.45am to 5pm Monday 16th October to Wednesday 18th October. Would the "Due to maintenance earth works" got to do with the Vekoma ride?
  8. Were you referring to in the newsletter this right - "With some of the attractions we selected we have made small changes to the way in which the ride has been configured which we believe will add to the excitement,” said Eddy.
  9. That's what i meant, just couldn't get the words out of my mouth
  10. Looking through the net to find info on Jamberoo expansions i find something. This is from the Australian Amusement Lesiure And Recreation Association Inc newsletter available at their website. Website of newsletter - http://attractions.co.uk/AALARA/newsdetail.cfm?codeID=17216 2007 - Taipen Mammoth River Ride - Confirmed Name Is "The Taipan" (don't know why i just wrote that) - It is actually a Dark Mammoth River Ride from Proslide. - It commences construction February 2007. - If it's a Dark Mammoth it must be built underground because in the article they want it to be blended in with the hill.
  11. Would this have to do with anything about the construction of Batwing? Off The Movie World Website - Batman Adventure - The Ride 2 will be closed 15 November - 6 December 2006 inclusive for annual maintenance.
  12. Dax Eddy believes that if a lot of people visit his theme park, he could build all the rides by September 2007!
  13. When i went to Scenic World in 2002 or 2004, my sister and i were on the sceniscender, i didn't know that was called Orphan Rocker yet nor a rollercoaster. But my sister saw the Orphan Rocker from the Sceniscender and my sister asks the operator "What's that?(pointing at the Orphan Rocker)" The operator replys " That's a rollercoaster. We hope to get it open in 4 years" I started going (in my mind) "yes, yes, yes". So what I've heard it should open between 2006 & 2008.
  14. I thought that a ranking on aussie theme park would be an idea. The ranking is on how many rides are there at the theme park and all theme parks are operating. They are also on the database. This excludes carnivals like Sydney Royal Easter Show. October 2006 1 - Dreamworld (43 rides) 2 - Sea World (29 rides) 3 - Adventure World (28 rides) 4 - Adventure Park (23 rides) 5 - Luna Park NSW (21 rides) 6 - Greenhills Adventure Park (20 rides) 7 - Thredbo (20 rides) 8 - Warner Brothers Movie World (19 rides) 9 - Aussie World (18 rides) 10 - Puzzle Park (18 rides) 11 - Jamberoo Action Park (17 rides) 12 - Luna Park Melbourne (16 rides) 13 - Australia Zoo (16 exhibits) 14 - Merimbula's Magic Mountain (15 rides) 15 - Wet 'n' Wild Water World (14 rides) 16 - Toboggan Hill Park (14 rides) 17 - King Carnival (14 rides) 18 - Big Banana (12 rides) 19 - Funfields (6 rides) 20 - Scenic World (5 rides) 21 - Flycoaster (5 rides) 22 - Corin Forest (4 rides) 23 - Big Pineapple (4 rides) 24 - Paradise Country (1 ride) 25 - Infinity (1 ride) 26 - Dracula's Cabaret Restaurant (1 ride) 27 - Lakeside Lesiure Park - (1 ride) If you would like to add more parks just post it on the forums and i'll add it.
  15. I think it's near the bottom of the top hat.
  16. In a separate post named "Win tickets for you and three mates to check out the awesome new Batwing Spaceshot! You can see it here - http://www.parkz.com.au/forums/in...7&st=0& It is from the movie world website and it clearly says "will launch December 2006".

  18. Article on front page. I would like to know what the point of having another zoo in Sydney and how this would change the popularity of Taronga Zoo. But other than that i think it is a great move from the ageing Taronga Zoo acroos the harbour.
  19. Looking at the pics from ozcoaster it definielty says BATWING - spaceshot. Would Batman Adventure - The Ride 2 close during the construction because of the destruction of the archway to the ride?
  20. I saw the picture before and forget which theme park it was at (mental blank).
  21. Usually Jamberoo only does construction on the days when the season finishes (May 1st to September 1st) but if runs late they will open the park with the construction going and just read in the Illawarra Mercury that the Outback Bay wavepool has been renovated so it can run for two hours non-stop (originally 15 minutes) and produce bigger waves (originally 1.5m).
  22. Isn't that a wet 'n' wild picture of terror canyon in the bottom-right hand corner above the words Diclaimer & Copyright?
  23. There is a picture going with the article showing Dax Eddy with the plans and a aerial shot showing where the rides are going to be. All rides are pointing to Le-Mans in a triangle shape with mammoth river near rapid river.
  24. 1. All the rides that will be built will be: - 2007 - Taipan Mammoth River Ride - 2008 - 5x Bigger Billabong Beach Rapid River Raft Ride - 2009 - Tornado Alley which include a tornado like at Wet 'n'Wild. The Pro Bowl which includes The Behemoth Bowl. - 2010 - The Cannonbowl & Pipelines. - 2011 - I think this is an Australian First - The Rocket which is a mag-lev water rollercoaster. All other rides past 2011 are still to be announced. Le-Mans will be pulled. 2. I would appreciate it if i don't get any personal messages. 3. I am 13 years old and i don't work at Jamberoo, i just read it in the Illawarra Mercury newspaper. I would like to work at Jamberoo or any theme park someday.
