ERGH. I was playing RCT3 today and I made a little section that would be like the TOT/Island and made a Booster Bike on it. I couldn't come up with colours though -.- Maybe we'll see black supports ... Nice picture. I want to know more info on Whitewater World ;D Emailing now. -

As in shows, or rides? -
It went up in 1 day though... I suppose it doesn't count. lol. Nice photos gumby. You can definately tell its themed to a wave. The aqua part at the bottom, then the blue, then the whitewash bit at the top,. Ah, so excited Sorry for my dodgo photo.
-
Not a very good picture, but you get the idea. The things at the top are white spike sort of things. It looks quite massive But nevertheless, exciting. If the track is in place, I wouldn't expect it to be open any later than a month.
-
Oh, forgot to mention, there are big white supports in place. I am going there next week for sure, I'll see what I can get.
-
There's a crane constructing it, the bottom section is in place. It doesnt seem to have a flat section. The track is no longer blue, it's that aqua colour. Looks good.

No.

actually have been in the scooby doo ride wen notmin operation they had problems oneday when i was dere and i got a tour like thing and i actaually mangaed to help out and the block system is very basic no way it couldve been that but i yahve worked on it and the cars have emergency breaks on them their selved which have a sytem that determines how far away from one car it is and if it has to send a signal to put the breaks on mayb it was the cars jsut a slight mis hap in the distances and wham u got a stop and go ride lol Actually, I have been on the Scooby Doo Spooking coaster when it wasn't in operation. They had problems [with it] one day when I was there... I got a tour-like thing and I actually managed to help out! The block system is very basic, [there is] no way it could've been that. I have worked on it and the cars have emergency breaks on them, and [these breaks] have a system that determines how far [the car is] away from [another car]. If it has to send a signal to put the breaks on, maybe it was the cars [or] just a slight mishap in the distances... and wham, you have a ride that stops and go's...

Yeah, I think (as usual) I'm looking way too much into it. They may just be restoring the mountain... it was getting way too old and decreped (sp?) and didn't suit the new look of the park. On the other hand, don't forget it has been a huge year for the park - I wouldn't be suprised if we did see another big slide/attraction. WVTP: Let's keep that money flowing in! I might get some goss for you guys on Tuesday, I know someone =D Also, I have a WnW pass, I just haven't been there in ages. I'll probably get out there sometime in the next few weeks.

Everyone doubted Whitewater World and look how it turned out... Although it's looking "bare", it's in its very early stages. They are footers, you can barely make out a ride pattern from footers. Well, not enough to judge a ride anyway. -
I drove past this morning. The mountain is absolutely destroyed.. Terror Canyon is still in place, but it musn't be open at all. It looks sooo different without the slides. There is plenty of room, you could easily fit a Tornado in there. I'm hoping we get a bowl, or a water coaster. Or maybe some high capacity tube slides lol. I dunno. ALSO ---- There is coaster in place. I saw it at the back. Not much, just a bottom section, and I'm not sure if it's on the footers yet but it's definately there somewhere.
-
Yes, of course. The only thing you aren't allowed is footwear. I think I've seen some people wear full outfits in. lol =D
-
I'm thinking we may get a bowl slide. The pool is big enough to support one.

I think these new attractions are a smart move - with the amount of people who bought WnW passes at Xmas last year, it will give them a reason to renew them.

Where is this information from? -
What you just said has no evidence to prove. You can't just say "yep just connect it to the water from the rapids ride it will be cheap"... do you even know what procedures these rides have to go through? The rides have to be 100% safe for guests - 100%, not "yeah the fire system might not work, so if you crash and you dont get water to put the fire out, say goodbye to the person next to you". As Gazza mentioned, replacing a fire system for such an old ride would come at a huge cost considering it had, what, 5 years left before it would become too old? It's not a star attraction and Dreamworld can cope without it. Unfortunately, that's the attitude we are recieving from them. I'd love to see it open again too, but you need to look at the facts.

Finally! A beacon of light! Thanks matt! Well from what I can see this is going to be a much needed upgrade for Dreamworld. It's shocking to see construction fences there! It's hard to believe it's actually happening. I think it's a great year for Dreamworld, considering that from what we know, Movie World is having a rest year and Sea World won't be installing any major thrill attractions. They really need to push the boundaries while they have this opportunity - attendance is down, rides are closing. Speaking of rides closing, look at that picture of Eureka. It's really upsetting. It looks like the ride is gone for good - at least for now. With such a huge ride for them, they really need a big hit of family rides as soon as possible, before their other rides start disintergrating before our eyes. I mean, it's 10 years now for the Tower Of Terror - that ride really set Dreamworld apart. There was something about it to me, and that something which I cannot pinpoint, has sadly drifted away. Sure, I'm loving the thrill rides at Movie World, but it still isn't the same as the buzz I used to get from Dreamworld. Hopefully that buzz will return soon. From what I can also see, the track hits the animal enclosures at some point? If so, I wonder what will happen with these animals... maybe they died This could possibly open up more development at this end of the park, but I tell you what - they need a new chairlift over there. I hate the hike! -
I think they should personally be expanding into the car park. Maybe expand Looney Tunes a bit more and then move onto more thrill rides. I think this is a much better option for the park as it is away from houses and there is plenty of room there. Maybe we could even see a monorail link between WnW and MW in the near future.

Isn't this a bit theme park obsessive? "OMG ONE BIG BROTHER PERSON SAID SOMETHING ABOUT HYDRO COASTER ON THE LIVE STREAM" Don't mean to be rude, but yeah. lol.
-
Ah its okay, I found it on the website anyway. I saw me =D for like a split second lol.
-
Hey, does anyone know much more about what's going on? Usually something would be posted. I haven't been to WnW in months.
-
omg I missed it and I was on it Did anyone get videos

He's upset because there aren't enough roller coasters. In other words, he needs an excuse to complain about Dreamworld because he is sick of it. They aren't behind (actually, they are in front). Yes, you have a right to an opinion, but I think you should have some evidence to suggest they are going "downhill" before you make such a radical statement. On topic, It's really sad that the GCCC has decided to cancel this event. I think it would have been a lot of fun and very unique to what Movie World are pulling out. I think it's awesome to see parks opening at night more (Eg. Wet'N'Wild, Movie World Nights, Dreamworld Nights). It would be great to see them opening on a regular basis at night in the not too distant future. Edited because I realised I used the word "great" 3 times in one paragraph.
