I wouldn't say Dreamworld's tube slide is dodgy, but then again it's the only Water park ive been to for as long as I can remember,so i can't really say anything.I have an overhead view of Seaworld in one of it's old brochures(the one before the latest one which has Shark Bay on it)and the water park there does look alot less enclosed then Dreamworld's.Doesn't Seaworld's water park have 5 slides? If so then it's alot bigger than Dreamworld's.Gazza was probabaly right;Dreamworld's is looking nice and sitting down at th Fish and Chip shop overlooking the small pools is really a nice way to spend the time(then you remember you have 3 hours left)Also the volcanic setting is nice, and from what I know Seaworld's water park has no theming at all.My favourite slide st Dreamworld would be the Tabogan;simply because of it's speed. But the climb to the top of those stairs with that dam heavy board is just exausting!

Okay,in March,Gazza posted an article about a top ten of the world. Some people didn't think It was very acurat,so what's your top ten?(I think this thread would be best answered by people who have been to alot of parks.

What do you think about Dreamworld's and Seaworld's water parks? As in,what would be a good slide or attraction to put in next?Which one is best? What do they need done to the area?

I just watched your Wonderland Final film.Excellent! It just makes me want to go to Wonderland more and more, which I'll never get to do.(sob)Anyway,I was aware, Richard that there were quite a few Wonderland videos, but they are not downloadable as Flea's are.And I was looking for a general video, not only particular ones.Hey Liam, are you going to do another Dreamworld film?Coz the other one was good, but needed more ride footage.
-
Yeah,that's right Gazza,you can't ride after booze.
-
Please can somebody make a downloadable Wonderland film on the site because for people like me who have never been to Wonder and never will it's is very distressing to think that I'll never know what it was like.Plllleeeeaaaassseeeee!!
-
Yeah, that's right gazza,no booze before rides

I always thought that Dreamworld looked pretty tacky....well,not tacky, but really a bit scrubby with it's bush.Actually, most of it's park is really nice, especially blue lagoon, but ToT area is so much different to Movie Worlds straight forward and clean park. But for rides,Dreamworld is probably the best. But then again all the rides at Movie World are very different with great theming, but then Dreamworld has a water park and Movie World doesn't.......you see it is these thought that make it so hard to choose to go to Dreamworld or Movie World.

When did you go to South Africa?Africa now has more coasters than Australia.
-
As with Slick, who mentioned the same thing at the start of this thread, when I went to Dreamworld a few days after my birthday only the west tower was runing. But I was too chicken to go on it anyway:D Also,Eureka Mine Ride,TOT,Cyclone,TRR and Rocky Hollow mean long waits.

What was the theming around bounty like?
-
Aztec jungle theming?Where was that?
-
What do you think would be the best theming idea for a new ride?Any suggestions?
-
Screammachine,I'm presuming you watch Fraser.

Could T.O.T become the tallest coaster again?
scott replied to Nightshifter's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Yeah, and besides, how would Dreamworld make a good add campaign out of that?"TOT,new and improved"!That would sound pretty crap.It would be good to have a 6g coaster though, that would be cool.ToT is the worlds 3rd fastest and tallest coaster, and has the world's second amount of drop, that's something we can be proud of when it comes to coasters in Australia. Not to mention we beat the Americans at it.Ha,Ha! -
What would you name your ride/coaster?
scott replied to inTIMidated's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Here are some crappy names I pulled out of my hat: Endeavour, Phoenix, Fire ball -
I meant thread's that were already on the dam site!
-
What would be the approprite thread?Anyway, what do you think Richard?
-
But what area is TOt in?
-
Well,I hope somebody apart from SchwarzFreak answers my thread. It can't be that bad.
-
You think I should attach a poll?I know how to,but I think most people are sick and tired of my polls.
-
Yes,that's what I said,Warner Bros is huge compared to Wet 'n' Wild.Of course, alot of it's land is devoted to the studios.I didn't really say it right.I was saying how big it is,but I should have said how small it is compared to Warner bros.

New General Manager for Sales and Marketing
scott replied to Richard's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Excellent,I love seeing Dreamworld's new adds. -
Okay, all four GC parks have a different theme to them.Wet 'n' Wild is a lush, tropical park,Dreamworld really showcases Australia's bush land's and wild life,Warner Brothers is a peek at the Hollywood glitz and glamour, and Seaworld is Australia's marine life and relationship with the enviroment. All the parks are icons because of this, and when you step into the parks you notice these things straight away.Which theme is your favourite?Bush,Sea,Hollywood and tropical island are all very interesting but what's your favourte?I'm not asking what your favourite park is,just the general setting.Personally, mine would have to be Movie World, but if I'd been to Seaworld and Wet 'n' Wild it might be a more accurate answer. Okay,I decided to add a poll to this thread, not just because Schwarz suggested to but also because the forum has been looking a bit bear lately. Also because of Schwarz,I added a carnival option.
