  1. Just to clarify my earlier comments.... There's nothing I said there which hasn't turned out to be the case. The photo Ninja posted IS in fact of the new bar, the maze (which has now been confirmed does share the same theme) is on the other side ??
  2. Had lunch at the new TI Noodle Hut too, the prices are fairly reasonable and the Chinese food was really good!
  3. Yeah, if you read the future prospective section of the latest annual report, it says they want to continue investing in the Corroboree. Word from the staff there is that a refurb may be finally on the way soon, after being put on the back burner for many years. I believe that's what will be next in line for them. Goldie definitely needs a new enclosure ☺️?
  4. Yeah I understand that, and I think that's fair enough. But it's the ones like Poison Ivy, Scarecrow etc. that were clearly sectioned off in the area, and had people having to go extra effort in order to see or photograph them. When I was there earlier this morning, a lot of staff stationed on the ride were clearly expressing their discontent when they could see people sneakily sticking cameras over or under the partitions. One was even standing over near the Poison Ivy area on and off to try and prevent people from doing it. To me, that respectfully says "wait until next week". Each to their own though, this is just my stance on things given on my experience there today. I'd just rather not do anything which is going to tread on toes, at least not after previously been asked not to.
  5. Hi Dreamer! In my past experience, generally you have to either print off the confirmation email that's sent to you apon pass purchase, or show it on your phone when you get there. They then allow you entry into the park to pick up your pass from the processing center, which you can then use elsewhere. Best tip to get through the entry process quickly is, naturally, to get there as early as possible. That way you'll be at the front of the queue Cheers
  6. Not sure how many people have realised this here amongst all the recent excitement of new attractions at neighbouring parks... but the Super 8 Aqua Racer slides at Wet N Wild GC have seen their final days, and are currently being completely dismantled piece by piece. Not a bad thing in my opinion, given the poor condition the slides had deteriorated to over the past nearly 20 years.. I can't even remember when the last time I saw the timing/placement technology working accurately. The counter displays at the finish line have been out of action for a long time! I was informed today by Wet N Wild staff that a new & much improved version of the attraction will be built in its place. This will apparently be happening over the next 3 months, since the slide is currently scheduled to reopen on Monday 19th December.
  7. @Richard yeah, I know. I'm just aware of what was asked by the general manager of peeps who attended the TVC, so I'm trying to be somewhat respectful of that. At the time, what statues in the area that were covered or off limits, was also requested to be off limits to the internet until the official opening day. Waiting one more week can't hurt.
  8. I've chosen to just share pics of the statues that can be publicly seen, as opposed to the still concealed ones. I'm sure the park would prefer that, too. Gotta leave some things a surprise for the end ☺️?
  9. @xRazzBerryx unfortunately I don't know any further details other than what I was told earlier in the year, which was just about the wristbands' existence, and that they are used to interact with the area surroundings. I can only assume they will be available from the shop, and that the final implementation of such technology will be put into place over the next week, which is why most of the statues are still sectioned off as they aren't still quite ready for us yet
  10. Yes, most, if not all, of the statues will be interactive. So with a special wristband, you'll be able to activate them to do perform whatever action they are designed to do. Some of those are becoming pretty obvious now ??
  11. Wasn't she a cranky one!!! Obviously got out of the wrong side of her bed this morning Just uploaded even more, these are from my Canon so the best quality I can provide....
  12. Wild West Falls area is reopened, but the ride is still closed until Monday
  13. Was just on the first public cycle of Doomsday! Such a fun ride, I loved it! And I'm usually not the best with spin and spews, hahaha. The area and the ride is amazing ❤️
  14. Highly unlikely. WWF was open for a previous FN event, and from what I have been told, guests were behaving inappropriately (throwing rubbish in the water, not remaining in the boats as instructed) so now the park is against the idea of having that particular ride open again for future ones.
  15. Ah, so no NEW rollercoaster. That doesn't rule out fixing up old, SBNO ones ???
  16. Now that you mention it, I was just looking at an old photo of it and it may just be the stripped back old facades. It's hard to tell though with the side one, so many trees were in the way back then ? There also a blue shipping container hiding behind the side one, that can be seen from the back of the Bakery. Once again, no idea if that was there before.
  17. Funny you mention that, @Brad2912... guess what opened today, and with a brand new menu ?
  18. The old LW Chinatown entry is completely gone now, other than the stone lions. They are already erecting walls inside the area. They also appear to be setting up Fright Nights theming in 'Arkham Alley' now. Four storage containers have appeared in the old LW queue line.
  19. Budget cuts. A dude hides in there and makes grunting and roaring noises to scare the crowd ?
  20. Here's the ones from my camera, better quality than my phone ?
  21. Brand new theming inside AA queue line, as well as the new VR storage room ?? Looks awesome ???
