(please ignore above quote box, can't get rid of the damn thing lol) I have to work tonight, so it's a no for me. I'm probably gonna save my last membership entry for Screamworld Halloween. Will be a lot warmer at night then, too

It only is whilst Tiger Island is shut, otherwise it's not a main walkway, it's just a shop exit. And it's usually turned off these days, other than the jumping water vases which are occasionally on for shits and giggles.

I suggested that, too. The concept would make sense, given they removed the old one from the kids area, and they still have one at MW. However the placement is probably not the best, since it would potentially be in the middle of a major walkway ??

Dreamworld's membership cards are hard plastic, same as VRTP's

Yeah it did, it was down for annual maintenance from 6th-12th June Huge welcome Belinda Brown, so awesome to have a Dreamworld official on Parkz! I don't have any questions off the top of my head, and you're already being bombarded lol, so I'm just gonna say hello for now and that we are really grateful to have you on our forums ?❤️

Geez lots of rides down here atm... Buzzsaw is in annual maintenance, TOTII and River Rapids are both down for unscheduled maintenance. They have vintage cars open to try and substitute. Lucky it's off peak period so hopefully they don't get too many complaints whilst they get them back up and running again ???

Geez I don't remember any of that But then again, I can't remember the very first time I rode it. Pretty sure it wasn't until at least a year or so after it had opened. I do remember however that there used to be a fog machine that would give the 'billowing smoke' effect out of the doors when they opened. I had to look up old you tube videos of the ride in its better years to confirm this memory lol. From what I gather, after the fire incident, MW decided to just cut well back on the effects as an added safety precaution and it just stayed that way since? As I know that's when the fog/smoke effect stopped. It's a shame this has happened, especially if the cause of a fire wasn't due to technical or mechanical fault (ie. I've heard numerous rumours about the cause, one being that someone lit a cigarette in there - not sure how accurate this is since the fire happened outside operating hours, but one example anyway) since it subsequently changed the ride experience. Hopefully now, given all the new technology and what not that has come out since the ride opened in 1998, they will take the time to redesign all the effects and restore the the oomph it started off with

It was back in the good ol' days. Not anymore. Now it's the WB Kids Fun Zone ??

Lol. And the reason the main reason there are people complaining about the paths is because of the unavailability of the monorail. Especially now that the Skyway is extinct. No choice but to walk everywhere (and get lost in the process)

Lol is this a trick question? Or maybe you're confusing MW with SW? The only things closed at MW atm is Wild West Falls, the Dodgems, and the kids Carousel. Everything else is up and running as per usual
-
It's been empty for quite a while now. Used to house Taz's Bumper Cars, but that was closed and removed sometime last year (I think?). They did have it temporarily set up as a prayer room since the official one was demolished for DD construction, but that was removed a few weeks ago as well. Hopefully they do something new with it now, as @Slick has said, that entire part of WB Kids Zone is fairly unutilised and needs a new attraction or two to fill the void

He's right. I'll never forget the first time I played Dactyl Nightmare at Grundy's back in the 90's! I'll just leave these here...

Yep, gonna be hard to get photo updates lol... as suspected, the entire Western area is closed off. But of course they can't let the time share people miss out on snagging their victims over the next couple of months

Just to further this I posted a couple of weeks back... Mike Croaker, head of entertainment at Movie World, has just posted a video on Instagram. A video of him trialling a VR headset on his mum. Coincidence? ?
