  1. Oh btw, heads up for anyone going to Dreamworld, probably worth mentioning that there has been some apparent issues with ToTII over the weekend as it's been closed since yesterday morning. Not scheduled maintenance either! Not sure what the go is, but hopefully it will be back up and running soon. In the meanwhile I am sure that guests are enjoying the peace and quiet around the park ???
  2. Haha yay! About time! Been trying to get their attention for so long now. Glad they finally noticed ?? To celebrate, I am going to post another TI photo lol. Here's what it looks like from the side. You can see the tiered seating construction now
  3. I wonder what's happening with the Dreamworld stage? Hasn't really been open all that long, and they are already doing maintenance of some sort on it...
  4. Here's a pic from another angle... Heading back to DW tomorrow (had to leave early today, was only there for an hour) so will sus it out some more then ??
  5. It wasn't shut down in that sense. A very informative MW staff member (he knows who he is! If he reads this, thank you ) explained to me that the LED green lantern logos on the front of the individual carts is doubled up on the switch which also controls the audio effects. When the Lantern logo on a cart isn't working properly, it HAS to be turned off, because of strict DC requirements that the Green Lantern logo must be displayed properly at all times. So since the LED lights on a couple of the carts recently were playing up, they had to be turned off, consequently the audio went with it. Thankfully the good ol' Movieworld mechanics decided to finally tackle the problem today and fixed all the LED lights on the carts, thus now they can all be turned on normally again
  6. Whoops! Sorry Ninja. The forum is not cooperating with me again. Just tilt your head sideways, you'll be right ??? I can all but confirm that as mentioned earlier on in discussion, the area will feature special new wristbands which kids can use to interact with their surroundings in the DC Super-Villians area and make things happen. I'm not 100% sure about some of the other rumours we've been told lately, but I am almost certain that one is definitely true! I'd put money on it ? You're more than welcome! I can't wait either ???
  7. Green Lantern has been fixed. Audio is working again in all the cars ???
  8. DD is getting some more attention this morning. They are welding more parts of framework to it. More wiring being done. Also have what looks like big plastic containers of fuel or oil or something up there too.
  9. Exactly. That and the demand for his return over recent years has been high, and Movie World have not been dismissive against his return in their responses. If anything they have suggested it would indeed happen someday in the near future. Given the popularity of Superman right now with all the DC related movie content being released, and now the upcoming DC Super-Villians area at Movie World, it seems a no brainer for them to do everything they can to overturn that original decision and have Superman as a featured costume character. Especially when they already have all the rest, but are missing one of the main ones. It leaves a huge hole in the park not to have him there! My bet is that they have come to an agreement with DC and that the Man of Steel is definitely making a comeback to help promote their new area. I'm so certain, I'd put money on it as well ??
  10. Hmm... does anyone know a guy named John Stanton on FB? Just got a very weird message from him who says he's got info to leak. Not sure if they are legit or not, but yeah, if he is then I might be first in on getting some breaking news out on my blog
  11. Aww. Why oh why don't they have Marvin the Martian costume character in the park anymore??? He's my favourite Looney Tune
  12. Aww, that sucks. I will have to delete the post on my blog about it.
  13. Eh, I wish that had been the case with me, @reanimated35. The dude kept harassing me outside of this site in the form of private messages and annoying comments on my blog. Then he started getting up me over responses I had made on here to other people's rants about him (ie. screenshots posted by others of his ridiculous claims on MY blog) and threatening to report me to Facebook Rest assured I'm well and truly over it. I've since blocked him as well on most media formats, so hopefully he will keep his inaccurate information and snide remarks to himself in future and leave me the hell alone ?
  14. Lol. Don't worry, he will probably just threaten to report you to Facebook for what you post on Parkz, like he did me a few days ago #makesperfectsense
  15. Some Sea World photos from today! New bridge is finished, just needs a bit of tidying up and it will be ready for the public to use Food plaza construction photos.... I reckon a fountain or water feature may be going in here ^^^^^ as it has a bunch of hoses and pipes sticking out of the ground in the center of it! Thoughts? One of the artist's impressions of the new area is plastered on the side of the dividers... Sideshow thing relocated to under Dockside is doing quite well... A popup shop has appeared outside of the Monorail station near the front of the park, since obviously they can't trade in the Plaza area atm! The permanently closed water park is still untouched, although the swimming pools have been refilled by all the rain in the past couple of days lol... Annnnd last but not least, here's Hudson trying to squish himself inside a blue tub Yup @themagician. Due to numerous roadblocks, the only way to get between the front and the back of the park now is via COTD path, leading into the kids area. Then you have to go up the path under the bridge between JSR & Flume to access everything beyond that. The walkway at the Ray Reef entrance that goes toward Polar Bear Shores (where the time share stand used to be) is also closed off, as is Ray Reef atm for maintenance, which means you have to then go down the path past the flume drop and up toward the castle in order to access Polar Bears, Shark Bay and the back of the park. Some attractions are now sitting in temporary dead ends as well, which means you have to back track afterwards. Its a serious pain in the ass, especially with the monorail down!
  16. LOL, this is the second time now this guy has posted asking about bringing Disney stuff to our Sea World park ?
  17. I have to agree, I was fairly disappointed that nothing else special happened throughout the day yesterday, that's why I left at 11am. I do wonder if even the cake cutting was organised as a last minute event. When I went into guest services earlier in the week and asked if they were doing anything special for Friday, I was told he didn't know of anything and that they have been focusing more on celebrating throughout the year, instead of one week/day. There were quite a few other people asking in the lead up, too. Maybe that's what made them realise that they *should* be doing something more? I mean I only heard/read about the cake cutting ceremony being at 10am via another theme parks FB page, and that was one hour prior. Only just made it there on time! I kinda expected it to be part of the parade later in the day. They didn't really openly advertise it, which I think is a shame. They could have had a much bigger turnout otherwise. Oh well. There is always their 30th, right??? ???
