You're probably looking more at 30mil for a flyer would be my guess and even then it would probably a short one. SW is an animal park and I'm happy to see more animal enclosures, but with so many rides being closed and not replaced the park desperately needs the balance restored. For what its worth if you gave me an unlimited spend on the park I'd build: 1. Ferris Wheel (views & gentle) 2. Drop Tower (again great views and would like to see one of those face down drop rides added for the extra thrill and sets it apart from DW) 3. Screamin' Swing (After the problems with S&S they might be more reluctant, but would replicate the feeling on the Pirate ship and a bit more of a family thrill) 4. Enclose the parts of the Flume Ride (Breathing life back into it and giving the park another dark ride) 5. Soarin' Attraction (Could work great with a sea theme and would like to see it go in the castle. However I don't think the space would be big enough) 6. Get Mack in to do a sort of launched looping coaster (good replacement for Corkscrew) 7. Mack spinning coaster (these just look like a hell of a lot of fun and great for families to enjoy) 8. 3 new modern monorail trains with air-con I would love to see something like a B&M flyer or wing rider, I just don't think it's feasible. But I did think the same about us ever getting a Hyper Coaster. Something someone else brought up here I hadn't thought of before is a wooden coaster with that seaside pier theme, I think that could look really cool!

They'd be referring to S&S Rides which took over Arrow and these days currently supplies parts to old Arrow rides, which is based in Utah, which would be why some articles referred them having to go to the manufacturer in Utah.

I think that's true and very much a shame because it's a ride type I would have loved to have seen at MW as a much better version since technology has advanced so much in the last 30 years and with how hot MW get's in Summer the parks could really do with a second water ride.

What do they do with loose articles, is it lockers, or do they have boxes on the ride? And what about loading procedures, are they quick or the usual slow MW loading procedures?

I don't need ones with any gimmicks. Bring back the original. With the others you can't see where everyone is until the end. This version as Joz said was just pure fun and the racing part with your mates was the best part, so many great memories of it.

Something I've always thought would look cool on Arkham is theming of like wires and electrical components that spark. I remember the old Colorado store at Pacific Fair I think it was had a similiar set up and at certain times throughout the store these electrical sparks would run through the wires in the store, if anyone can remember that?

I think making the outside area look like Metropolis Park would be fantastic.

Wet'n'Wild Sydney? But for how much longer? Pacific Fair followed in the footsteps of other AMP centers with paid parking and The Star in Sydney is paid and considering they on Jupiters (soon to be The Star) how much longer will it stay that way? Same goes for The Treasury in Brisbane, also set to become The Star.

It's man made anyway. I don't get this protect the ecosystem and environment stuff everyone goes on with. It's not natural, it wasn't there to begin with. I'm all for the 3 storey height limit from Marina Mirage on wards, but I think protect some bushland, make some parkland and develop the rest. The Spit is full of unsavoury things, especially in the bushland. I've long championed for SW to expand to the east across the road, I think it would be great if they did! More rides and more animal enclosures. Bring it on!

Lot's of wooden coasters are built near bushland or trees in other countries. Wonderland had 2 wooden coasters. It can be done. But seriously though RCDB a reliable source has stated its a sit-down steel coaster, why are we still debating if it might be wood and why we wouldn't or wouldn't like/be able to have one.

There are 3 styles, but will they actually have them operating for the public? Like how Wipeout has something like 6 different cycle options with some being more extreme than others yet it only operates one of the cycles.

Maybe they've got plans for more big refurbishments next year.

Speaking of, I love the TLC they're giving the parks so I don't want to sound like I'm whinging it's not good enough. But while I was at MW over the Christmas I really thought the bathrooms needed renovating badly. That's the one near the entry, behind the ice cream store, next to the dodgems and over at WWF.

Seeing as WB and Village Roadshow have close ties, that Village co-finances some of the WB films and coproduces and helps distribute them. WB don't even have a movie division here in Aus everything is done through Village. Based on that I don't think we'll see too many themes changing in the park. Although VRTP do have to pay WB to hold the theme park Licenses. Regarding the park changing its name, maybe but it has such heritage now, probably unlikely. It could just drop the Warner Bros. tag though, everyone just refers to it as Movie World.

Haha yep. Just said Village Roadshow instead of VRTP because it's the movie division that signed the cofinancing deal with Sony Pictures, not the theme park division.

Not sure if this is for 2016 MW but maybe something we could see in the future? I was reading VR & Sony have signed a co-financing deal. You can see their name on Sony movies such as the new Ghostbusters film. I know they'd still need to buy the licensing for the attractions, but with this deal do you think in the future we could see rides with a theme from Sony Pictures like Ghostbusters?

Yep Sunrise and The Morning Show all discussed how they would need to take a serious look at what had malfunctioned and that this would be the end of the ride and that it should be time for it to close down after this.

^Sorry should have clarified and not quoted the whole thing. I know why DD has a dropping floor, I'd like to ride it and keep my legs. I meant SE with its 2 stations, if they wouldn't build it like that today, why when they originally built it think it was a good idea to have it set up that way.

Yeah it would be like Universal Studios announcing their new waterpark, having Universal attracted gets more attention than just a new water park coming to Universal. I'd be interested to see actually once a hotel gets built what they will end up calling it, Warner Bros. Resort, Movie World or leverage the VRTP name and call it Village Resort/Village Roadshow Resort.
