Given the choice between this and a regular golf driving range I am in this giving this a try group. Getting together with a group of people and relaxing at a place like this sounds more fun than going to a normal driving range. Who goes out and sees movies these days? I do, movies were meant to be watched on a large screen with decent sound setup. Things like IMAX and Dolby Cinema aren't something you can replicate at home. People keep comparing this to bowling. I see the same thing, I am happy to go to a standard AMF for a few games as it is cheaper than somewhere like Strike (plus it is more BYO gear friendly), but that doesn't mean I would never step foot in somewhere like a Strike bowling bar or put up the opposition to going somewhere that offers a more social environment if a group of my friends were interested. Will say I am willing to meet up with a group of people from here once it opens to see what it is like.

This looks to be as included in your entry to Movie World as what Outback Spectacular is so will it cost extra? Yes, hire or bring clubs? can see both as an option.

Sounds like a good addition and something I would try after. Done mini golf, "normal" golf but never been to a driving range. The social nature of it sounds a lot of fun with a group of people. Now just need them to announce a hotel as part of it to remove the driving home after drinking.

Ah the Toowoomba Chronicle, at times I question if they are a newspaper or radio station based on their Facebook postings.

They still allow those in parks here? Guess that's another thing to add to the list of things I miss from the US parks, security confiscating them from people when entering.

Have to agree there is more to Tatsu than it looks. No POV can do that ride justice for the forces you experience. Colossus is great fun, we need something like it or Joker over here. Would take one of those over a B&M that's not similar to Tatsu.

The ride has two trains with the second train always sitting on the brake run after completing the course whist waiting for the other train to finish loading. Sad to think this ride used to run a maximum of four trains and now is flat out being able to run two efficiently. For those wondering what they are using for the VR, it is the Samsung Gear VR with a Galaxy S7.

De-railing this topic for a moment and will say this about VR coasters, good idea, terrible execution. Found the headset uncomfortable and slightly painful to wear during the ride (hard plastic on your nose isn't fun). They also totally decimate the capacity of a ride (around 5 minutes between dispatches). Sure the video/game was fun but no way would I be rushing back to ride a VR coaster especially with over a hour wait.

So a collector cup for Movie World's 25th compared to Disney where you can't go anywhere without knowing it is their 60th. Even California's Great America had more for their 40th this year, same can be said for Knott's and their Ghost Town 75th anniversary celebrations.

Season dining passes are heavily advertised in the Six Flags parks. Pricing isn't too bad (From $74) with the basic getting you a meal and a snack at one park per visit to the top level ($200, on sale currently for $85) giving you lunch, dinner and a snack at any Six Flags park plus a free refills all season sports bottle. Average meal cost is around $15 so it would be easier to get the value back out of their passes. One area our parks have priced stupidly high is the refills. I like the Six Flags option of two different bottles, one all season refills and the other single day unlimited refills with $1 per refill on subsequent visits. The way the parks are priced (WnW Sydney excluded) it is just as cheap to buy a new bottle each time over paying to reactivate it.

If it is anything like "Hammerhead" at Discovery Kingdom this should be quite a fun ride.

Have had a few of my Instagram photos shared by the parks, mainly Wet'n'Wild Sydney but have managed to have Dreamworld share one of mine.

After Magic Mountain I wouldn't say the queues at our parks are bad enough to warrant that.

After seeing what I did today all I will say is VR on coaster completely kills the capacity. Takes around twice a long to load a train and dispatch due to at least one person having issues with securing the headset. Haven't experienced Revolution with VR (line was way too long) but will give a review after I go back and get on the ride.

People still listen to the radio? Wow!

Music is still be released on vinyl so there is still a demand for CD/vinyl releases.

Universal already have Dreamworks attractions in some of their parks.

Channel 9 promoting and condoning illegal activity? Doesn't sound like them based on what they have been doing recently...

Sunday wasn't a public holiday which I am guessing based on when Spotty replied is when they went. Dreamworld doesn't open the Anzac Day public holiday.

Who really cares who the lead role is. As long as the movie itself isn't shit I don't really give a damn who they cast.
