What Would You Have Done With WLS Had It Not Closed Down?
Nebuchanezzar replied to scott's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Uh, Hi Neb. I just realised this topic was around so forgive me for responding to the subject title. Anyway, I'd probably see what funds I have and then build a new ride depending on the situation. If I was losing money then I'd have to think if I was willing to make a bet that big. -
Hmmm, I doubt they'll bother with a B&M, it'll probably be a Vekoma or Intamin roller-coaster. What type? I don't think any of us have any real idea. But I sure do hope above all hope that they do bother with a B&M Kumba-esque ride.
-
and indeed it is a great ride

Well hell, I'd like to see A Moveit 32 slapped into LPS, but I don't think it's gonna happen sadly.
-
www.gamerevolution.com is where I go for most of my cheats, but I've already been there. The Nintastic one is an Aussie forum, but no cheats. But yeah, I have visited that gamefaq's place once or twice before.

Heydy. I've been looking for good Nintendo sites in recent times and the only good one I can find (and indeed am a member of) is www.nintastic.com I wanna know if anyone has any good Aussie Nintendo sites they can reccomend.
-
Sure, I think theres a nice web site called theme park brochure. I can't remember the link so just type in Theme+Park+Maps+Brochure into Google, and you'll get there. As for Wonderland, a Maths classroom at school has one in there on the wall, I'd steal it but theres really no point.

Yeah, well it just looks so cool. I could still do with a good non-Kumba avatar though... hint hint. Has anyone been to Busch Tampa and would like to give us a brief review?
-
Yeah, the Ferris Wheel queue. It's very badly thought of.
-
Spinout sounds crap as well. The formula ones in the background look kinda cheap if you ask me. Our Claw is just fien the way it is.
-
Which pulls the g-forces for the longest time? Then I guess you can argue about which is more dangerous for crushing your legs.
-
Oh I agree I agree. Kumba is the best looking (in a non sexual way) roller-coaster I've ever seen. And the landscaping makes it all the better. But I've never been there, so meh.
-
Only yesterday, whoa, you've been missing out. Anywho, perhaps they saw the endless amount of business that Krispy Kreme brought to the Easter Show and thought, "let's cash in"
-
Why did they call it the Claw anyway, it's so unoriginal. It hardly looks like a Claw, whereas the good Claw, the Claw Claw, Durkin Claw, travelling Claw...whatever actually looks like a Claw.
-
Sold where? Or is this another case of withholding information because they want to save face or summat like that...
-
Your all very coaster orientated aren't you? Well here goes. 10. Corkscrew 9. Enterprise (Dreamworld) 8. UFO (HUSS) 7. Rainbow 6. Lethal Weapon 5. Cyclone/Big Dipper 4. Space Probe/Giant Drop 3. Ranger (HUSS) 2. Claw (KMG) 1. Tower of Terror Please note that position 1 and 2 are basically in a dead even tie.

Your Favourite / Most Visited Park - Have your say!
Nebuchanezzar replied to Adam's topic in Theme Park Discussion
I visit Luna Park Sydney most often. I can't get enough of the Ranger or UFO, both brilliant rides. If Wonderland were still open then I guess that'd be my most visited park, unfortunately...it isn't. Best park in Aus? Probably Dreamworld, in my opinion. -
I'll join the pack and also offer my praise for the hero wonderbus2003, some people do not live in Queensland and enjoy watching the parks on T.V.

Busch Gardens Tampa - B&M dive machine
Nebuchanezzar replied to NatDog's topic in Theme Park Discussion
I would have thought that the trains wouldn't be able to handle this extra g-forces and so on because of their wideness. Then again Oblivion got 4.5 G's so they should be able to handle a vertical loop and other elements. I wonder if B&M will continue to use their gravity defying thin supports. -
Exactly, would you much rather see no theme park specials on TV? No, I didn't think so. I'm gonna watch it, hopefully they'll show some good Wipeout footage, it's always interesting to watch.
-
Whoa! Bolliger & Mabillard right? It would be interesting to read a proper book bout rides and stuff, but websites are much easier to get information from. Quicker and easier.
-
pffft, I reckon it will be much crap compared to the Halloween things in the States that I've heard about. And Halloween is a stupid idea anyway, perhaps they should conserve resources and pour them all in for something huge and exciting during Christmas! and all of them fast Pizza places pale in comparison to actual peoper Pizza Restaurants. Like Enzo's in Camden. Mmmm.

Still seems odd that theres a lot of headbanging, despite the lack of major lateral turns in the coaster. Judging my the looks of it's layout.
-
Yeah, I saw that. It brought a tear to my eye. Go the Giant Drop.

hahahahaha, good one. I thought the backback restraints looked pretty groovy myself. Are they more comfortable or less comfortable than normal OTSR's? and would OTSR's work on X?
