HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY MOVIE WORLD!
The Thrillseeker opened as the Wild Wave Roller Coaster. It is now a travelling coaster known as the Taipan. (Database Link) I don't know if it was official or not. I can't find the website where I got them from but it was probably about 5 years ago. As I said before, all of those maps were from the same website except for the 2002 one which is from Theme Park Brochures. I might start up another two threads within the next couple of days with stuff from DW and SW.

HAPPY 19TH BIRTHDAY MOVIE WORLD!
I have some old maps on my computer already so I thought I'd upload them. I have previously found all of these online but I don't know where from (except for the 2002 one which is from Theme Park Brochures). jakeman398, hopefully you can fill in some of the gaps or provide a higher resolution. 1995 - Sorry about the grey area at the bottom. When I originally downloaded this I was on dialup and the connection dropped out. 1999 - Pokemon takes over MW 2002 - Before Scooby 2003 - Matrix 2005 - Before Superman & Shrek 2006 - Before Batwing

Sea World 2010 (Castaway Bay & Antarctic Penguins)
Today, these attractions were officially announced and Skeetafly posted some pictures in the WNW thread here. I found this smaller image on SW's website. Unlike the other in the other thread it has a logo in the corner.

WnW 2010: Aqua Loop, Flowrider, Zipline, Skycoaster
I found this smaller image on WNW's website. Unlike the other it has a logo in the corner.

WARNER BROS. MOVIE WORLD CELEBRATES DC COMICS 75TH ANNIVERSARY!
- Dreamworld's got Diego!
So basically the video is a slideshow of pretty much every copyrighted picture Dreamworld has available for the media in their image library, along with half an article from the Sydney Morning Herald (including screenshots of their video). In saying that it was good to see some of the older photos - but were they stolen too?- WARNER BROS. MOVIE WORLD CELEBRATES DC COMICS 75TH ANNIVERSARY!
If it was official I am sure it would have been released here. I'm assuming David Green is a staff member who works as a cameraman who films the shows for the big screens in HSD and on Main Street. All in all it's a good video.- The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
^ No I haven't tried Butterbeer. I've heard a couple of reviews of this recipe being different, but better than the Universal one.- The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
How about the 'unofficial' Butterbeer recipe? ^ Just on the stunt show idea...- Sea World 2010 (Castaway Bay & Antarctic Penguins)
My guess it will be replacing more than just Shark Attack. It will probably replace the Aquarium and maybe the toilets next to it.- The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
Yeah. I saw the first one back in 2001. It was pretty awesome - a laser / light show on main street as you're eating a banquet with fireworks to finish. Oh, and the movie...- Sea World 2010 (Castaway Bay & Antarctic Penguins)
According to the database, it was announced and it didn't progress past that stage. I think it was supposed to go where Ray Reef now exists.- Sea World 2010 (Castaway Bay & Antarctic Penguins)
^ They'd probably do what Seaworld San Diego have done with their Penguin Encounter exhibit. Their website states that they have emperor, king, adelie, gentoo and macaroni species of penguin. Here's a couple of photos Gazza got for Parkz. Pic 1 Pic 2- Free Mates Rates 50% Off Dreamworld And WhiteWater World Tickets
Since this topic is two years old the tickets would be expired by now. These sort of offers really only last about 6 months.- Universal Studios Singapore
The Sentosa Theme Park blog says Battlestar will be down to the end of the year while another article says it might only recommence operation next year. Getaway's video is now online here. It's funny how they mention the park's flagship attraction, Battlestar Galactica, for all of 2 seconds with a shot of Hulk at IOA.- WhiteWater World, June 2010
a.k.a. where the ride budget has gone.- Sea World, June 2010
.... that you aren't aloud to bring into the park.- WARNER BROS. MOVIE WORLD CELEBRATES DC COMICS 75TH ANNIVERSARY!
They haven't always been like that though. All of these floats did not require the generic towbar and vehicle as all of the current do. Last 2 photos courtesy of jakeman398- WnW 2010: Aqua Loop, Flowrider, Zipline, Skycoaster
^ I'm guessing you haven't read my post in the Castaway Bay topic this morning. After looking at the Wave Loch website again, and the construction going on at Wet'n'Wild, I'm thinking its only going to be a FlowRider Single (half of Dreamworld's). I hope it's not though .- The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
Never complain of a ride queue again. These are pics of Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey's queue on open day. And I just thought I'd copy this in from the Off Topic Topic.- WARNER BROS. MOVIE WORLD CELEBRATES DC COMICS 75TH ANNIVERSARY!
Just by chucking some of Gazza's descriptions in Google we have the following characters thanks to Wikipedia: Harley Quinn AND Tezcatipoca I wasn't as successful in searching "pink & black DC comics character" though. All in all it sounds good and I might have to head along.- WnW 2010: Aqua Loop, Flowrider, Zipline, Skycoaster
I wonder if they'll just get a copy of Dreamworld's Double FlowRider or if they will get multiple ones to cater for a higher crowd. Another question is whether it will be an upcharge or not. Gazza, did it actually picture a Flowrider or did it just say Endless Wave. If it just said Endless Wave, then there is a possibility of it being something a bit different: a FlowBarrel.- Sea World 2010 (Castaway Bay & Antarctic Penguins)
^ My copy doesn't have the promotional sleeve. I think the copy that you picked up was one of the ones they give away at the theme parks. I know in the past I've had free Courier Mails and Sunday Mails from DW and WWW (each with DW and WWW upgrade advertising), so I am guessing WVTP are doing the same with the Gold Coast Bulletin. I'll rephrase the question. Did any other locals get yesterday's Gold Coast Bulletin from one of the theme parks?- WARNER BROS. MOVIE WORLD CELEBRATES DC COMICS 75TH ANNIVERSARY!
Well I did say...- What will get you back into the parks?
^ A new big coaster would be great, but I think DW wouldn't have enough space (now that they sold off a heap of land) and I think MW would have noise complaints if they built coaster further out than LW (closer to the homes). Rather than add anything new within the next year, I would rather the Gold Coast parks invest some money into maintaining their current attractions like DW is doing with the Tower of Terror. Everyone knows about the state of Bermuda Triangle and how much it needs to be fixed. - Dreamworld's got Diego!
