But nothing to do with Insurance premiums for Rides at the EKKA spiralling out of control right?
-
Of course you do.

The Conjuring 'Universe' is that big in the Cinematic world right now, it currently holds title for Highest grossing horror Flicks (Nun, Annabelle). Not to mention Movie goer's use that 'U' word when referring to this particular Franchise - one that was formally exclusively reserved for icons Marvel, possibly Star Wars. Like or not, this is the biggest thing in Horror right now and therefore a practical/perfect/logical choice for MW to cash in for the upcoming FNs. I'd be disappointed if they don't.

^ what kind of clothes do Zombies wear?

Not gory but it is the moment when someone's life came to an end and that's plenty enough for most.

Steel Curtain at Kennywood - first test
MickeyD replied to wikiverse's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Take a look at the surrounds just as the ride pulls in. Looks like someone's crappy back yard off to the left. The entire coaster was just thrown down on top of an available flat space without any care or attention to landscape/dress the surrounding area up. You of all People know that's a pretty shit effort Mista A-Lexi-B 😊 -
Steel Curtain at Kennywood - first test
MickeyD replied to wikiverse's topic in Theme Park Discussion
This looks fricken awesome and those first 2 loops... Wow! Absolutely, @Jobe something like this would be a most welcome addition to DW - surely even they could do a better job at the themeing/landscaping than Kennywood. -
A--Lexi-B Superman Lockers have been FOC for some time now, just sayin😋

Thanks @Brad2912 I wonder, are the props going in that last pic a clue of what's to come? I'm still hoping for Annabelle (Conjuring Universe)

Absolutely not. This is 100% DW's fault.

You would need to see the movie yourself to know that there is far more to it than a Posessed doll.

100% and I think this is exactly what Big Gash was hinting about a month ago!

^ Hop n Hoot down?? That's it your dead to me DW .

^ A relatively simple VR Headset is a fun gimmick but hardly makes a ride "immersive" - A phrase that's all but owned by Disney, we really don't presently have a ride in Australia that fits that bill! WWF, SDSC and JL could all reach Universal standard for a modest few million - about as close to "immersive" as we're gunna get. After the recent down-grade of SDSC, it's pretty doubtful we will see that happen any time soon. The other Dark Horse, DW's SV could become our most immersive ride experience yet, assuming they ever get the thing open.

As much as so many of you hate AA, the ride is still actually a prominent favourite for many of it's Riders. Without question MW will replace AA someday - that's surely inevitable as the Park grows. But it's not one that will happen any time soon as there's plenty more work to do elsewhere, most of you already know that 😏

Wowee Push 1 too many Brandy's for a school night?
-
I absolutely remember that and glad to hear someone else does too.. pretty awesome wasn't it? How rude of me... thanks so much for sharing! What a fantastic find of the ride at it's absolute best!

That and the fact that VRTP's already adhere to extremely strict and thorough safety practices. The new requirements (at least for them) would be minimal to no difference.

Well spotted MistaMagic, 2019 was what I meant yo say, guess I was getting a little ahead of myself there ☺️

Since FNs are no longer included in the Pass, the crowds have diminished significantly. 2018 mazes were practically walk-ons at times the night we went, and like @themagician we left early, having done everything and 2 mazes a couple of times. Surprisingly, some People were still wasting money on fast tracks. Last year also lacked a lot of energy and vibe. As @Brad2912 says, it was the weakest FNs yet. A 5th maze in 2020 will be a very welcome addition but I hope that won't come at the cost of taking more Entertainment away from the Street.

Dreamworld June Update
MickeyD replied to Gold Coast Amusement Force's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Thanks for the update! So what rides are actually operating at the moment? Seems like a good time to go if you wanna see Tiger Cubs, that's about it! -
Given how well Universal addressed the problem, more power to them😊

What's not to love about this comment.. "Big Gash" - lol, GOLD😊
