OK, just found out about an amusement park in Chennai. http://www.queenslandamusementpark.com/home.htm Funny name for a theme park though the place looks like fun. I love how in the descriptions of some rides they talk about the safety mechanisms/precautions in place.

Wouldn't they ever, this would be so good. the last time I rode was horrible, something really needs to be done, though highly unlikely.

Scooby isn't launched and it can complete the track and Lethal Weapon doesn't need dummies before it can test.

I was just wondering because on SE they don't need dummies when testing, along with other rides.

So does that mean that they must fill the carriage with dummies while testing in the morning?

Longer than four, well that just makes it worse. It is sad to see one of Australia's best themed attractions going down the gurgler but that seems to be the trend as of late.

Just take it down to the panel beaters and it will be as good as new.

Well that is pretty poor, four days and no bulb change. Hopefully after it comes out of its 6 day maintenance period on the 26th of June it will be improved.

Mega lites are pleasing to the eye and something that would make a well worth addition at Dreamworld IMO. Any idea idea on location, maybe the Eureka Mine ride site. If the demolished the building would that leave enough room keeping mind that they could build across the water. One of these with a Gold Rush theme would working nicely with a bit of planning, some good rustic colours and plenty of thought into the story line. Hehe, I don't know about that.

The last time I went on there was no smoke at all on the final lift hill or at the top of the volcano. The red rope lights at the top of the hill are just pathetic and look really dodgy. Sad to see the lack of TLC.

I just got an email from Dreamworld advertising a discount pass option now available. Sounds like something to take the visitors away from WVTP and rival the almost expired Q150.

Yeah pretty much, you see the main point of the trip is to visit my relations and as they are in Chennai that is where we will be most of the time. Who knows, we many go and travel to other places but we don't know yet it all depends on what my Aunt and Uncle are doing.

Yeah, It seems as if getting on a ride in India is like playing Russian Roulette (Not quite) I am sure their will be many great things to do and see in India. The reason I asked about the theme parks was I didn't want to miss out out on any big ones while over there. From what I have researched it seems as if I won't miss much by having a theme park free holiday. We have extended family currently living over in Chennai (Feb-Aug) and that is the main reason for visiting. So I am traveling over with Mum on the 29th of June and returning on the 18th of July.....Can't wait.

Chennai for the most part but may go further South or North. Are there any themeparks/waterparks worth visiting while I am over there? When I looked on RCDB and seems as if most of the parks have a Zamperla Dragon Coaster. After visiting some of the websites it looks like the workplace health and safety measures are below much lower than in Australia

Nah, I am not going to get an annual pass once my Q150 runs out. This is only due to travel being 2 hours each way. The last time I will use it will be on the 27th and 28th before I go to India

Darn, I wish it was opening this year. I have two stopovers in Singapore during June and July. Where is it located; I might try and get some construction pictures

Sounds like some good additions for the park, definitely a good step but I think spreading those rides over a 10 year period is a bit much.
