  1. Websites can change... They were open today, and when I originally posted the website clearly stated they were still operating. They have only just added the new temporary closure banner, the page I linked to (and is still currently accessible on that link) is now quoted below, as is the new statement.
  2. I would say that is the case, it was a stupid decision to begin with considering Debit Success had no issues pausing my Dreamworld membership when they were closed. In other news... In addition to hosting a wedding, Australia Zoo remains open for business in these "avoid non essential travel" times. 🤔 https://www.australiazoo.com.au/visit-us/zoo-update/
  3. In theme park adjacent news.... They also have cancelled their "SkyHigh Cinema" they were planning to run April 14-19.
  4. It has been closed since at least late last year, possibly earlier. They even installed a self serve photo kiosk (that works half the time).
  5. As AlexB stated, was in comment to the post above. I attempted to post the LPS statement as a separate post but the forum software combined it, apologies for the confusion.
  6. Surprised they think there is a chance they can recommence shows on March 31st.
  7. VRTP have silently updated their operating hours on their individual park sites from Wednesday. Parks are now operating until MW 4:00pm PC/WNW 3:30pm SW 3:00pm
  8. I would certainly support that being done at the GC parks, Universal Studios Singapore have been doing it for awhile now.
  9. Not sure if it's a technical issue, sold out or if they are considering postponing the event, but it is no longer advertised on Dreamworld.com.au. The main page still works, however the ticket pricing/links have been removed.
  10. Village have posted a statement confirming at this stage they plan to stay open.
  11. I wasn’t actually at the park today, but my friend says she took the photo around 10:30 so it appear to!
  12. Pretty happy with this announcement, especially considering the video promotes a "never before seen show". Cosentino has been my favourite of the limited time engagements so far.
  13. I think private events would have been a consideration with these screens too, I have previously seen them set up temporary screens in the same location.
  14. In my experience Movie World do start admitting guests to rides at 10:00AM. Have to agree with @Spotty on the inefficiency of running SE without a dedicated unload although not as bad as the short period they tried running without an entry host. During February most of my weekday visits had the load operator stop assigning gates to unload the train, then return to reassign gates.
  15. I would assume Skypoint's numbers (like DW's and MW's) have been heavily impacted by lack of overseas visitors (chinese in particular) due to CORVID-19. As far as I am aware they have never done such heavy F/B discounts previously or such a widespread "locals" offer.
  16. In somewhat related news Skypoint are offering 50% off admission for locals and 50% off meals for Annual Passholders. https://www.skypoint.com.au/Whats-On/half-priced-meals https://www.skypoint.com.au/Whats-On/half-priced-offer
  17. Yeah, had a look at the site from Sky Flyer while at Carnivale and it definitely looked like the gondola.
  18. Where the seating area used to be as @themagician said. Also worth noting there is now a small storage bay for phones/glasses. Potato quality photo for reference.
  19. I was just using it as a current example of the park's lack of care despite change of management. Not implying it has any relevance to safety.
  20. The decision to close the park to park access rather than pay for a single staff member to man it strikes me as a current example of putting money over guests. (photo taken this past Saturday)
  21. I visited the parks you plan to in May last year, Nagashima Spa Land was easy with a Train to Nagoya Station and a Highway Bus from there.
  22. My 2 cents is that the recent changes/additions to the disco room turn it back into a "must ride". Can other areas be improved, certainly but the ride is the best it has been for a while, the disco room is better than it was prior to the removal of all the theming.
