Park Addict 93

Very much like your idea @Slick, have any friends in senior positions at Ardent? I agree with @Ashley. Someone told me lego construction is currently on hold (unsure if true) but I think you can't stop progress and I personally think that the park should reopen this weekend. I expect it to reopen prior to schoolies.

^ Don't exaggerate, won't be 90% for atleast a few more years ? Slightly off topic for this thread but I think DC is why the park will retain Warner Bros. licensing/partnership long term. Would be love to see a new DC Heroes area if similar to the standard of Supervillans.

Funnily enough they used to have a western show not that long ago. Budget cuts apparently :/ They do that during the parade and have for quite a while...

Yeah, big downtime list for this month. I wonder why they are keeping the Villains area closed, Doomsday I can understand due to technical issues it has been having but why the entire area. Most of the figures appear to work without issue (have seen Joker/Harley not work/need a reset). Even if the figures do not work many guests just like viewing them/taking photos with them.

I was at Sea World last thursday, saw all Seal/Dolphin/Penguin Feeding shows. All usual crowd numbers in my experience for a mid week visit. I also attended Fright Night with a friend on Friday and must agree with you there, she speculated it was because a massive storm was on the radar. (no idea if thats true)

When I visited Movie World I certainly did not see an obvious visual drop, both during day hours and for the FN event on Saturday. I think possibly because a next campaign isnt ready yet either (VIP w/one free entry to White Christmas if like last year)

Worth noting despite being removed as planned it seems they have now changed their mind (or were misleading people to sign up ASAP).

Similar to the email sent to passholders the following has been emailed to members today.

We are not holding a press conference at 4pm. We will advise media when this time is set. We are also not confirming anything further. https://twitter.com/QPSmedia Four people have been critically injured at #Dreamworld. There is nothing further we can confirm at this stage.

ABC News 24 are going to be carrying the press conference live for those interested.

Looks like Friday the 13th in 4D is being added to the remaining dates with the removal of Catatonic. (link currently does not work/lead anywhere). Anybody know what is happening with the Reel Horror Film festival?

Worth noting that despite the FAQ linking to that page it was not offered this year and further down the page says upgrades from VIP are not avalible. I have also confirmed the following I can confirm that the Premier and Elite memberships will remain on sale next month even after the standard $10 per month memberships are discontinued.

Worth noting Dreamworld are also taking their membership options offline at the end of this week.

Here is the media release, just sent out

Assuming this the report you just saw they stated a tunnel for children to crawl through, not Cub Kindy.

Worth noting this deal Free tickets for WNW Sydney Opening Weekend (Optus Perks/Customers) Get the summer started with up to 4 free tickets to the Wet’n’Wild Sydney opening weekend party on Saturday 24 or Sunday 25 September. With special DJ performances and much more! Locations: NSW Offer dates: 15 September 2016 until stocks last https://www.optusperks.com.au/events?cm_re=Home+Page-_-SB10-_-wnwAu

I think it's a great idea, I am surprised that they haven't put a hard limit on the number of meals for circumstances such as Brad where it is potentially open for abuse. I purchased the previous Season Dining Pass for ricks at $99 and thought it was good value. That had a hard limit of 30.

I have noticed they have seemed to do this for the last few years around April/May. https://themeparks.com.au/box-office/sale.aspx is the link if anyone wants it.

Bring a friend offer for Premier and Elite members is back again this week, and Scoopon are offering reduced tickets at $15 for adults and $8 for kids for all remaining nights.

Their are some improvements in the concept image in the press release. Also worth noting Dreamworld are advertising a new "VIP Experience" for $1250 per adult and $500 per child. Includes wildlife experiences, gold ride express, a personal photographer for the day and more!

I have this, along with a MW souvenir vhs that I have never seen.

https://jointheparty.com.au is now live. Each event night at movie world also has a musical guest/performance. Tickets on sale sunday, elite/premier members can book now.

Kevil Hill will not be returning as a laser tag, my contact at dreamworld has confirmed "Kevil Hill will be a scare attraction during our upcoming Screamworld events. The lazer tag has been retired"
