Surprised they think there is a chance they can recommence shows on March 31st.

VRTP have silently updated their operating hours on their individual park sites from Wednesday. Parks are now operating until MW 4:00pm PC/WNW 3:30pm SW 3:00pm

I would certainly support that being done at the GC parks, Universal Studios Singapore have been doing it for awhile now.

Not sure if it's a technical issue, sold out or if they are considering postponing the event, but it is no longer advertised on Dreamworld.com.au. The main page still works, however the ticket pricing/links have been removed.

Village have posted a statement confirming at this stage they plan to stay open.

Pretty happy with this announcement, especially considering the video promotes a "never before seen show". Cosentino has been my favourite of the limited time engagements so far.

I think private events would have been a consideration with these screens too, I have previously seen them set up temporary screens in the same location.

In my experience Movie World do start admitting guests to rides at 10:00AM. Have to agree with @Spotty on the inefficiency of running SE without a dedicated unload although not as bad as the short period they tried running without an entry host. During February most of my weekday visits had the load operator stop assigning gates to unload the train, then return to reassign gates.

I would assume Skypoint's numbers (like DW's and MW's) have been heavily impacted by lack of overseas visitors (chinese in particular) due to CORVID-19. As far as I am aware they have never done such heavy F/B discounts previously or such a widespread "locals" offer.

Yeah, had a look at the site from Sky Flyer while at Carnivale and it definitely looked like the gondola.

Where the seating area used to be as @themagician said. Also worth noting there is now a small storage bay for phones/glasses. Potato quality photo for reference.

I was just using it as a current example of the park's lack of care despite change of management. Not implying it has any relevance to safety.

The decision to close the park to park access rather than pay for a single staff member to man it strikes me as a current example of putting money over guests. (photo taken this past Saturday)

I visited the parks you plan to in May last year, Nagashima Spa Land was easy with a Train to Nagoya Station and a Highway Bus from there.

My 2 cents is that the recent changes/additions to the disco room turn it back into a "must ride". Can other areas be improved, certainly but the ride is the best it has been for a while, the disco room is better than it was prior to the removal of all the theming.

I have only ridden number 3 (steep) but I didn’t find it uncomfortable. Was pleasantly surprised at the speed.

The 10th/11th/18th are all sold out, will be interesting to see if it is truely packed or if they are capping the crowds much less than they used to. I still feel the majority of guests would be One Pass redemptions. Fast Track is also now for sale @ $15 for one ride on Storm/Sky Flyer/Jet Rescue.

Fair point 😂 Even if it is an off the shelf system (the Virtual Que aspect certainly is) evidently there is still work to be done with some One Passes and Memberships not working. Have yet to hear of anybody being able to add memberships to the system.

Imagine you are a family on holidays about to visit Sea World, knowing it is the busiest time of the year you want to be prepared so you google "Village Theme Park App". The top Google result brings you to https://themeparks.com.au/download-app . This page advertises "Reserve your ride ahead of time so you can fit even more fun into your day." . You scan/manually enter your ticket details and are happy your visit will be somewhat less stressful being able to reserve your ride and view wait times. When you arrive at the park the app states everything is closed or full, another part of the app says wait times are only 5 mins. You go to enter the ride and it is in fact an hour. Are you happy with VRTP at this point? Would you be more understanding if the app was advertised as in testing? The app isn't restricted to enthusiasts, I saw many tourists using it at MW and some staff are even proactively telling guests about it.
