I'm sorry to say this, but that update is not an "Lowdown" its very old news about Dreamworld, Wet N Wild not to mention space walker. Might wanna check what you wrote after you read all the other post's mate on this website.

There is a new licensing deal signed between Marriott and Nickelodeon to create a series of resorts around the world. They expect there could be as many as 20 of these under construction by 2020 with the first property to be in San Diego’s new Liberty Station development. Construction will begin in January 2008 and will open in early 2010 on the first resort that will feature 650 rooms, a 100,000 square foot “water park and activity deck” Other possible locations under consideration for Nickelodeon Resorts by Marriott include just about every major family oriented destination in the US, Caribbean, Mexico, UK, Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East.

Matilda is coming back. They had to move her when they added the new undercover seating areas for Customers. Not sure where she will be added too. I will get some Photos sometime this week GOGOboy, Its visible from the road.

I Went past Wet N Wild today and seen that all 4 slides that come out from the White Water Mountain have been ripped out and Demolished. The Whole area has been dug up and and is under construction. I would say this is for the new Water Slide attraction coming this year with the Halfpipe.

A new article in the Gold Coast Weekend Bulletin has put up info on the New Surf Rider Half Pipe at Wet N Wild. I Scanned the Article so you can all have a read. Someone from a Coaster Website has sent in the photos or contacted them. I think it was someone from this site. Anyway Enjoy

An article in the paper today is celebrating Wet N Wild's Millionth Customer. They also talked about how Wet N Wild has had a record year and which it catapulted into the third most attended water park in the world behind Disneyworlds Blizzard beach and Typhon Lagoon. They were happy to announce that the Slogan Wet N Wild 'Biggest and Best' has worked exceptionally well for them. Also they mentioned they would step up in competition to rival White Water World and open 2 new attractions this year in September school Holidays. They said they will make an announcement in the not too distant future on what to expect. We all know its the Halfpipe and some kind of Waterside. Anyone know what kind? The Gold Coast Bulletin 24th May.

Hey Guys. An Update we all have been killing for. I finally got sometime off to check it all out and see whats happening in Construction. So here are some pics , I covered the Booster Bike, Nightmares and New Vintage Cars area also Mine Ride: Booster Bike: Nightmare's: New Vintage Car Areas: The Track is Red, the Shed loading bay is up too. They are building a bridge at the moment Mine Ride: Its all closed up and turned into eating area. Also, they had to Close the Tiger Area, as 1 tiger was in the wrong area at the wrong time and they got into a fight, so they had to close it all off while they moved it. The Nurse and other people were down at the area.

I heard the Eye is Staying Until January 2008. I also Heard it may go to Movieworld after.... I'm not sure if its true, i heard it from a contact of mine

Expect a new Shrek 3 Live Stage show to open up soon. Including characters of puss in boots, Fiona, Shrek, Donkey and others.. I'm not 100% sure where it will be opening, I will find out soon. With the Western show, its going to be in the Maverick Sound Stage. No further details are known. Anyone know anything?

It was on Channel 10 Late News. They had a small Theme park Attractions Expo on the Gold Coast. It basically was saying about all new styles of attractions to keep people coming back to parks, that we can expect in the future. They showed a company that does a "fast past" style of ticketing, a Indian based company that does water laser light shows, Roller coasters, Flying ones and also Half Pipe with a Weird carriage. Dreamworld was shown alot with the ticketing company, so It might ed up heading there, they didn't state anything. Some of the event people were American.

I would like to see a Wooden Coaster or mine ride of some kind, to go with the Theme.

Maynia has been canceled. Due to noise restrictions. They didn't think of it and have realized it would create complaints.

Last night was soo long. it went for ever, dragged out. Yeah some people from the Behind Big Brother site had staff filming it then streaming it live, they kicked 1 guy out, but it wasnt the right guy. I went to Movieworld today (bad mistake in holiday season) the park was PACKED....i haven't seen it like that ever before. Anyway, I went on Scooby Doo around 3pm and we had to wait for the elevator to take us up while in the car, then we went backwards we had to wait where that turn table is to start on the turns part. Every section where there was emergency breaks, we stopped, it jolted us every time and stopped us just after the second large drop too. a total of about 6 times. It was a total crap ride, it didnt flow, it kept stopping and you could see all the other cars doing the same, they had a serious problem the attendant said. Weird, anyone had that?
