Goliath - Adventure World’s new Intamin Gyro Swing

Just got an offer from AW to renew my platinum pass, yet they haven't offered any details. Weird. Still gonna do it. 😝 -
Finally getting my passport! Yay!!!!

Wow, great TR, @grrofunger. I've been tempted to go to Legoland Malaysia, but have never been because of the border crossing and the fact there's so much to do in Singapore. I have only bought fast passes once at USS and it wasn't that bad. It seems insane to pay that much and still have to queue for such a long period of time. I think the vomiting on the canopy flyer must have happened with someone travelling backwards - it's a very different experience. It sounded like ridiculous sized crowds. It wasn't August 6? I'm glad you survived the process. -

What is this - The Thorny Devil? Kahuna Falls was getting some work done when I visited, today. Inferno is back up in place too. -

Totally agree. I first went to HKDL just after it opened and was surprised by how little was there, but I sure love how pretty it is with that hilly backdrop. The fact that it has a couple of shows really helps round out the day, but it's totally what I'm looking for in an Australian park. Build some popular family rides that everyone can go on and that won't make them sick. Have some beautiful gardens, because that's one of the things I hang out for on the weekend. -

Looks very probable, but there's still some stuff wrapped up behind Abyss. -

^ Yeah, I noticed that. The latest from today. I also think that Rampage is getting some love and attention as well. -
^He's already got a day for the space centre. I presume you've got a hire car as the Mears Shuttle only runs from Disney World on certain days of the week.

Sounds like a great trip, @Jobe. Definitely pick up a copy to the Unofficial Guide to DIsneyworld if you haven't already got one. I also follow themepark bloggers who often visit Florida, like That Sounds Fun and Spoonfullofsugar. All the best - I hope you get to stay on site.

^How do you think we feel? I got sick riding Bounty's Revenge. I often get ill watching first person shooters. Don't get me wrong, I'm not ungrateful; I'll dose myself up and give it ago, but basically I'll be waiting another two years for a ride I can go on. I just hope it's not a spinning coaster. -

^They should just build a new land with all of your suggestions, @grrofunger. -

^Weird, my thoughts exactly. It's great to see them adding to the park and I don't believe that they've lost their mojo since Mark left, but few of my friends will probably end up riding this. I can't stand spin and spews and I think this ride won't have that mass attraction that even Bounty's Revenge had. There are so many staples that AW could still cover without putting lots of people off side. Family coaster, anyone? -

Cool drumming over the animated star field and then the wooden/stone section closes in. Simple, but effective. -

^No, I'm just suggesting that they've sealed that building so that they can install the electronics, especially with this lovely wet weather we're having. Some kind of water effect would be nice if it meant people were less likely to be sick on this ride in hot weather. -

Indeed, I am Perth Theme Parks on Instagram and Facebook. The orange thing in the distance is a shade structure without a shade on it. Some more pics - I think you'll find this Mi-3 comparison better. Interesting that the control booth looks watertight and there's been some work up top as well. Inferno is still down. I was hoping they would paint it a slightly different colour before it gets resurrected, -

There was a survey for season pass holders, this week, asking what we thought of last year's offerings. Obviously, someone is back at work. -

Totally agree. I think that person did a lot of AW's off season PR, especially in the form of replies to Trip Advisor. He's also been active on Facebook and probably saw the Creativeworks' post that both Tim and I shared. Having said that, AW usually hires a PR company to do the advertising for the MIs. -

^Or a maniacal laugh or comment every time a train goes through. It would be cool if you could hear it from some distance. Love the cannon on Space Mountain in DP for that reason. -
^Being on the Spit, SW is exposed to a lot of salt water and corrosion. Why did they get rid of BT, the pirate ship and the cable car? Couldn't they afford the upkeep?
