I hope the West covers it tomorrow - there's not a lot of tourism or park news in the paper. It's great that the government is going ahead with the $2 billion dollar rail link to the airport, but it still kills me that we haven't got Inspire WA off the ground yet and that Outback Splash is only slowly expanding its water park section. That's a ProSlide Tornado 60 in the Today Tonight print advertisement, right?

And I was getting my hopes up. All the visuals tend to suggest an open Tornado. I wonder if that was done on purpose.

Yeah, the way I read it was, you buy your tickets online and use the prepaid wristband for anything in the park. You just don't have the option of paying for anything there in cash. 'Invisible ironic quote' marks, right?

The funnel looks almost complete now. You can see it much better from the street outside. There's a pile of marble/paving waiting by the bumper boats area and some work being done in other parts of the park. There's lots of green slide sections at the rear of the hill, next to where Freefall normally stands.

60s are enormous. The only drawback if it is, is the lack of hybrid options. We'll find out soon enough.

Yeah, I find his 'are you seeing the dolphin show today?' posts annoying, his saying that something is open when it's closed irresponsible, but when he spells 'agree' as 'argee' it does my head in.. and this is coming from someone with his own blog and theme park Facebook page.

Mad Max does a sense of humour. The Waterworld show at the U.S. Parks do. I don't see it as a problem.

Waterworld and before that, Conan, had some pretty interesting characters and stunts involved. It certainly would be different from what MW offers now.
