I tried to persuade my parents to let me buy one but they have changed their mind from a month ago when i first saw it

What could wet n' wild add to their extensive lineup of slides and water based attractions next. Is there much left to do
-
Richard do you have any video footage of Cyclone or Corkscrew anywhere.
-
Better allround it seems. Can anyone who has been there tell of it's layout and rides etc.
-
Sounds like you had a fine day at Movie world although seems like a very short day. Will you be heading to Dreamwolrd and the other parks aswell
-
Sydneys Luna Park seems to be a lot more popular and well-known than it's melbourne counterpart. Melbournes Luna Park seems to have the very same carnival style rides as sydney though

Your a freak at Halo andy to even finish easy difficulty. YOu must be very obsessed though to play enough to finish the game so quick

$250million dollar theme park for NSW/Goulburn
steve$ replied to cordonbleu's topic in Theme Park Discussion
Would Goulburn be a good place for a major theme park? Even if they did get a decent coaster they arent in the right place and nobody would come from far away, only the locals -
Done and done

That 15 years of fun poster is very historical. I havent seen that paint job on the demon before. That is a great poster and i wish i was allowed to buy one but my parents hate theme parks and anything to do with them

I dont think so. Dreamworld probably arent going to get another flat ride, they already have enough and besides, the world record breaking rides at dreamworld have gotten a bit old and are starting to slow down or break down a bit more often and while they will be great. People need something new to ride at Dreamwolrd, something full-on and intense just like Tower of Terror when first opened. A decent coaster could really increase Dreamworlds popularity and confirm their status as one of the best parks for fresh and innovative thrills.

That is a nice comparison of the parks, i learnt a lot from that article,Thanks richard

I'd like to know everybodies horrible ride experiences at either of the LUna Parks, it seems as though there is a lot of people on the site who have complaints to make. Queues or just general things
-
I wasn't really complaining about Cyclone. I think its great that we still have it, I dont know what everyone is going on about when they say the ride is so rough because it really is nice to have any coaster in australia of that calibre, and dreamworld wouldn't seem right without Cyclone
-
It really is sad when you live in Sydney to see Wonderland go. It was the only place where you could go for some decent thrills.
-
Sorry i wont do that again
-
About the roughness of the Wild Mouse type rides, the original wild mouse at Luna Park is pretty rough as well, those last two turns after the on ride photo are like hell.
-
Good Stuff, Thanks for that Paul
-
Zipper is a really old type of ride that has been at shows and theme parks for many years. My dad is always telling me about when he rode it at Luna Park and the Easter Show in his childhood
-
I just read that,Those type of exhibits are great for Seaworld. te They have quite a few now, dont they
-
Cool, Thanks for that Richard

Wild West falls is a wide trough with a lot of water and the dreamworld log ride is a skinny trough.Plus the wild west boats weigh more and are bigger so the WW falls should get you wetter than the others
-
Is there a video that anyone has of the full cycle run of the cyclone?
-
Sorry i dont really think that dreamworld would consider that in 12 months,i was just saying that it could work at dreamworld. And about the 10 or 8 loopers i was just saying that is the big type of ride that parks like cedarpoint would have(along with their other record breaking rides
-
Dreamworld sure would have something to brag about if they got a ten looper but that dosent seem like the type of ride that dreamworld could have. I mean thats the type of ride for places like cedar point or a six flags park somewhere. Personally i think that would be great and so would dreamworld but they don't need anything like that and they could do fine with a coaster that has only a few inversions or even none(like millenium force or magnum xl-200) which are still rated as some of the worlds best coasters although the drop is what makes them famous. They could try a coaster like The incredible hulk(I think thats the one with the inversion straight of the lift hill)and painted green.THats a great ride
