  1. It's not a proven scientific fact, but I'm sure anyone who saw the show when it had real stunts in it and also saw it now would agree that it's a very poor imitation of what it was.
  2. Oh dear! I'd love to see the process they went through to come up with this one (and the previous attempt). It can't be that hard surely!
  3. I was actually just taking the p*** out of Homer Simpson. For FUN though. Not to use his words against him (although I'm sure he wouldn't mind).
  4. I never saw the original version but that looks good to me!
  5. It wouldn't be practical or necessary due to the very short ride time.
  6. Can't screenshot this on my phone so can’t show you here, but Google is getting incredibly good at matching ads to nearby posts. Immediately after the above post by Micky D was an ad with a picture of a heart, and the question "Chronic Heart Failure?" It's almost like they know exactly what I'm thinking sometimes! 😆
  7. Sounds good, but why not show that for say 5mins and then a 2 minute video which features the producer of the movie excitedly boasting about how the movie was made there!
  8. The Hollywood Stunt Driver show was a way of demonstrating one type of movie magic, and before that the Police Academy show was a sample of similar from a specific movie. In view of the recent statement about bringing back the movie magic, I really hope that's going to include reinstating something good in this location.
  9. If they made a new video as I suggested earlier, they should make that very clear. It's something they should be very proud of, and which guests would find exciting.
  10. I think so, but it's a bit pointless since there aren't really any stunts!
  11. Looks like you must have dared to post something AlexB disagrees with. How stupid of you! (That's the nature of this forum, I'm afraid. Like it or lump it!)
  12. The video is great. It's just been on far too long! Maybe they could even ask some of the original actorsand perhaps even the producer or director to make a new short mini-documentary.
  13. If you take a very quick glance at this forum you'll see that they're in the process of upgrading the Spooky coaster right now, after waiting a year or two for permission from Warner Bros. to do so. I can pretty much guarantee it won't be closed for at least a decade. Probably more like 2 decades or more. However I think it might be possible to close the half of the queue room that's rarely used (if there's extended queues during busy periods they can potentially queue outside) and perhaps that space could become a trackless ride?
  14. To enhance the guest experience during the construction period.
  15. Given that guests often spend a significant time in the queue rooms, I'll be interested to see whether they make any changes to refresh that area. As others have said, I really hope they change the video.
  16. Except I actually grew up in Manchester, UK. Not one of the biggest cities in the world, but certainly quite densely populated.
