For 13 months, not 12, including Skypoint observation deck, and with a $20 Westfield gift card. You don't get any of that at Movie World!

Just checked and the ride is STILL under maintenance with no end date according to the website!

At the moment I'm inclined to think any "cramped" feeling might be due to the temporary construction fencing, and will be alleviated when that's removed. As for the white, perhaps a bit bland for a themepark. However I'll reserve my final judgment until it's open. 26th December, as already stated above.

Only one small section of wall from the original structure remains visible now, and the only way I know it's original is from the photos I've seen on Parkz after the original facade was stripped back. SkyVoyager sign is presumably under the blue wrap in my first photo today.

Maybe there's more to come in the disco room then, but how they can have anything not 100% after such a long period of closure I don't understand.

Oh and the door from the queue area into the first part of the ride are once again not working. They're just automatic doors so can’t be that hard to keep them operational.

Pre and post disco room there are what I would call moderate new effects. Quite good but after such a long wait I was hoping for more to be honest, and some of the effects were a bit repetitive. The only way this might be good is if they're somewhat random, and you get different effects each time you ride. That's possible, but we'll see. Disco room has a couple of new lights but really I was expecting a lot more there. Overall, in my opinion, 6/10 on a scale of how well they've done (compared to how well they could have done). Still a very good ride, but could have been significantly better!

I only got a quick look but fairly sure the video screens are showing different clips from the same movie.

The sign is up, and does now include "next generation" Aiming to open 10.30am.

On the Movie World maintenance page the finish date has been removed. It now just says "Currently under maintenance, from 23rd July 2018".

Now that the Wiggles show has finished the screen is be used to show various Dreamworld promotional information. That includes the TV Commercial for SkyVoyager.

One of the two new screens at the front of the park was in use this morning, promoting oneof the indigenous shows you can see in Coroberree. Certainly helps add atmosphere at the front of the park! Hoardings down. Wraps coming off. Still a bit of facade work to complete, but certainly starting to feel like the finishing touches are being done!

I'd say that's good evidence of how good the event is.
